I literally tried to attend this college 3 times. I applied online then I went inside after trying to call for over 2 days. Once I arrived at the college around 10am they had me running from building to building only to say we sorry the deadline was at 6pm today! I tried again and the information they had was wrong so I drove all the way back home then back there, only to be given the run around again. This school general line picks calls you can't get anyone else to answer your placed on 20 minute holds until you hang up or until you drive up there. The semesters are ridiculous they last so long so if you miss a semester by their "deadline" then your stuck waiting months to attend school. The school is useless need to be relooked at and retrained after 3 attempts I finally gave up and will find another way to get closer to my dreams this school admission sucks! FYI every issues was on their end NOT mine, example I was told once you get a student number you get an school ID after 4 hours I was standing there only for her to say I was given incorrect information and this was ALWAYS!!! the school is trash from the experience I had and 3 times!!! it also looks like BAD reviews have been for years they are not interested in corrections I pray people stop attending so they can get it right! Can this place get any worse? Yes, it can! There's a 2nd floor hallway that connects the main building to the ESCT building and it's designated as a study area. Signs are everywhere in that area that says "Quiet Study Area. No Food Or Drinks" but all the people there are loud, obnoxious, goofing around, screaming, eating, making out, and trashing the place. You can't even use the study materials like the whiteboard there because these people have taken over every space everyday of every hour but how can you even study with this kind of environment anyway? They had to install doors to keep the noise down rather than enforcing the rules. Fights, arguments, and threats happen a lot here, too. Don't go here if you want a safe and proper school environment and education. They don't enforce any rules in the parking lot or in the buildings read more

The professors are horrible and the advisors are horrible as well, they're very rude and act like it's an inconvenience to help you when that is their job! Probably the worst place to continue your education. read more

Seriously the worst place to try to continue education anytime you go to make a payment register for classes to do some thing there's always some type of rule or piece of information that you have to have like a blood oath signed by George Washington before you can register for classes I'm so sick of this place. It's been years of this and every time it's the same thing your money would be better spent at Mountain View or at a Dallas community college. read more

The Northeast in Hurst still remains my favorite campus. I'm taking a Maymester here at Southeast in Arlington and it's OK. The most unique thing about this campus is it's one long building separated into 4 parts on the inside. Also there's a cute little "Free Library" where you take a book, return a book, near where the portables meet the main building. And a random "wildflower" area that has a sign that says "Do not Mow." They mowed it anyway thought. Smack dab in the center ("Building" ESED) is the Library, business center and registrars. You stand in the hallway as students walk by, no seats so people literally sit on the floor. You can enter any downstairs entrance and walk the long, wide hall until you come across the "main office" in the hallway. Update: I've taken a fall semester here. Financial aid on this campus are not as helpful as other campuses nor can you get a walk in appointment with your councilors like you can at Northeast. Don't come here for help. Try to go to south or NE. read more

I've taken classes at this TCC campus for about a year now. All things considered, I'm very satisfied with my experience: - Some of my professors have been downright fantastic: caring, approachable, and super competent in their fields. Willing to help with references, material, and advice. - Given that I qualify for in-county tuition, costs are very reasonable. At the end of this summer, I'll have picked up a very healthy amount of transferable credit with no debt. - It's been nice having such a diverse student body; I've met veterans, people returning to school after trying their hand at business or raising a family, dual-credit students still finishing up their studies at local high schools, very driven full-time students taking eighteen or nineteen credit hours a semester, recent immigrants, working professionals returning to school for additional qualifications, and all sorts of other people bringing interesting experience to the table. - I've had good luck with the support staff and administration. The ratio of positive experiences (where people follow up with me on issues, and take time out of their day to help me resolve things) to negative ones is better than what I've experienced at other schools and institutions. Generally speaking, it seems like the staff have the students' best interest at heart. - That isn't to say it's all been roses. I've been given the runaround once or twice (where you bounce between offices for signatures or documents or suggestions), and I've had instructors who seemed to be "phoning it in" or focusing on other pursuits. Procedures sometimes change suddenly or erratically; in this one year, I've seen a bumpy transition from Campus Cruiser to Blackboard, the introduction of the TCC Choice Card, and a switch from the SmarterMeasure assessment to the Online Readiness test. Putting together a schedule that works for you can be a pain; popular class times and instructors fill up fast, and different campuses focus on different programs. This summer I'll be criss-crossing the Metroplex in an effort to get all my coursework wrapped up. Still, my impression is that TCC is pretty much constantly looking for ways to improve its student experience. I get asked for feedback often, and I've seen a lot of projects implemented in an effort to help get students "onboard." That's good. TCC provides a good value proposition for a lot of students. Nice teachers, caring staff, low prices. If you're able to get some coursework done here, good. Go for it. read more

Testing center is run by F up people... i drop my husband and after 4 hours i was worried about him i went inside to check on him is getting dark and is 6:00pn so they should close by then. The Disabled women who's working there was super unprofessional rude person i ever met. Could you imagine she won't tell me if he inside or left MF. What he will get from that he will become the TCC President... then i called the cops just to get inside and check if he still there.. read more

Coming as a transfer student they made me pay for a test I never needed to take, lost my transcripts many times and when I brought in transcripts by hand they still claimed to not have them eventually someone found them and they "put them in the system" note to you I turned them in 5 months before classes even started and then I go into advising where they can only tell you what classes to enroll in but can't put them in your cart or press enroll for you with your consent so that's a waste of time I go home to enroll into my classes and it states I can't because they don't have my transcripts and puts a hold on my account and then I end up having to take late starting classes but I have to set up a payment plan for them to hold me in those classes even though I get financial aid I call the financial aid office they proceed to tell me I don't have my transcripts in so they can't award me with my financial aid which doesn't make sense because you need your transcripts to enroll into classes which I was enrolled in. read more

They're a bit short-staffed at night, but aside from that, their staff and students are both VERY friendly and helpful. The campus is huge for a community college and looks modern if not new. The parking is free if you're a student (just show the police department that you've paid for classes, and they'll give you a permit), which is nice, because most campuses and universities charge. read more

These people don't care much for the students, in some areas there is no way you can take on line courses, yet classes that are required are held during evening hours. Not all students live close to the campus nor own a car. It is not fair that a student who is finishing, has to change his or her area of interest because the courses needed are held in the evening. GOOD JOB!, you interested the students, took their money and now since they cannot attend evening classes the counselor just tells them to start all over in another field of study. I still don't get the part where it says that the college is there to help the students, what a laugh. read more

The southeast campus is really close to my house. The faculty and staff here do care about the well being of students. I have some close professional relationships with some of my professors here. The campus is kept nice and clean and the tuition is extra Cheap. I just wish that I didn't have to transfer to UTA because I am maxed out on credit hours that would transfer. read more

I've been attending TCC SE for a few years now (due to lack of focus its taking a bit longer) and I've noticed it's gone downhill in some areas. The overall campus is great and very convenient but I feel like they spend funds on unnecessary upkeep of the grounds. They had a wonderful cafeteria a few years ago with tons of selections to choose from, now I'm forced to eat seemingly stale subway sandwiches everyday or find food off campus. The wifi is horrible you spend more time refreshing pages instead of on actual research. I will say they have great professors there although I wish we had more/better ones that taught the science courses. Bottom line TCC SE is a good place to take prerequisites and then transfer to university. read more

Good school. Most of the classes are inside one building. Easy to get to classes but kinda feels like you are still in highschool. Tuition is affordable and teachers are good. I took all of my classes here until I had to transfer to UTA to further my BA degree in finance. read more

Best options for continuing education, and/or going back to school. All professor are very caring, understanding. Classes are not crowed and you do get a lot of one on one time if you need with the professor. Tutoring centers helps quite a bit. To continue school for $50 an hour is great being a resident, if not $75, which is still not bad. Many campus in surrounding area. Highly recommend for high school graduates or others who would like to go back to school! read more
