The program she uses is extremely simple to use. Just upload all tax forms and they are stored in an online folder. Chat makes it easy to ask questions/supply answers. Any tasks needed to be done by taxpayer are listed and checked off as completed. Having to complete three returns was simple with the program. Returns were completed faster than I anticipated and ready to be signed. Anything that needed to be completed for filing was clearly explained. During our phone interview Jay sounded great and especially loved the fact he was crypto literate. It was downhill from there. Here are the negatives..... 1, He kept accusing us og not knowing hot to properly do bookkeeping and asking us to turn over our bookkeeping to him - for a fee of course. We have never had any CPA complain about our bookkeeping and we have been doing it for 19 years. 2. He failed to depreciate our buildings at our business thereby causing me to end up owing the IRS an additional 15k in taxes that I should have never paid. Our new CPA caught this and filed an amended return to correct the mess Jay created. 3. He never filed the franchise tax report with the TX Comptroller's office and never bothered to mention that he did not file it. This caused us to get a notice from the state putting us out of business until we remedy this by filing our report. Again our new CPA is handling it. 4. Jay is constantly trying to upsell services as add ons that other CPA firms include in their tax preparation service. Also when something goes wrong it is always the clients issue never his responsibility. Stay away. This was the worst accounting experience ever.

After months of no response from the IRS and no communication from this company, I finally went in person and was told that he was not seeing customers and that he only communicates through email. The reply to my email came with an erratic lecture instead of an apology and an accusation that i lied about his office not returning phone calls. When i threatened to contact the BBB and write a review online, he wrote that he was terminating pur agreement and said that if i contacted his office again he was going to call the local law enforcement and the IRS on me! I'm assuming that i have to kiss the $550 goodbye

She also didn't know how to process the advance. Instead of saying this she didn't know what she was doing she disregarded the advance . I was there specifically for that. I complained and was promised I'd get my money back for the filing fee ($335) . That never happened . I got the run around from the local office and the manager Sharon. I even called the district manager, Andrew and no answer was given about where my check was. I'm totally shocked that this company has so many people working there who don't know what they are doing. When complained to the manager she left me a voicemail mail stating that "she did her job and I'm welcomed to file a complaint at the corporate level" She then blocked my number. Do not go here and trust these people with your information and refunds.

Which they neglected to add in a 1099, and then charged me twice to file. When I heard back from Nguyen it was 6 months later and I had to call the IRS to figure out what I needed to resolve in the interim. They also just abruptly stopped doing individual returns. I wouldn't have returned anyways.
