Excellent Customer Service very helpful. My husband brought us here on his work trip my 7 yo enjoyed so much the little nice friendly pool. Is a small hotel very convenience markets and restaurants around room#114 was our room I considered from now on our spot in this hotel very easy access to parking lot ant pool. The room service ladies very attentive if we need something or extra towel love the good service.

RUDE receptionist that works at night

Horrible customer service!! Decided to stay here for only one night and planned to check out at 4am! Immediately when arriving into the room, there was a strong funky stench and coming out of the bathroom. My boyfriend and I decided not to say anything because we did not want to be a bother and considered the fact that we were only going to be sleeping there for a couple of hours, and spending the majority of the day NOT in the hotel. Come close to checking out around 4am I decided to take a shower, while I'm waiting for the shower water to get hot, I notice little very tiny black worms. I tried to get a cup of water and pour it over so it would go into the drain. I then saw more little worms hiding in the tiles. I was so disgusted but I needed to take a shower. After researching what they were, I've come to the conclusion that they are (GROUT WORMS) So at 4am I am on my way to check out, the clerk (found a picture of him from previous yelp review PICTURED BELOW) looks as if he just wakes up from a nap and tired. I proceed to tell him "I'm ready to check out and I just wanted to let you know there's worms in the shower." He responded to me as if it was nothing new that he heard and his response was "Well you should have told us earlier" And I responded with "Well I'm sorry I just took a shower now. I just wanted to tell you because that's disgusting." His response was "Well you know I have to check your room.." Not even concerned about the health/cleanliness of the room for the guests. He then comes back accusing us of smoking in the room. His first comment towards me "I know you guys smoked in the room. It clearly smells like you did". I responded saying "No we didn't... We did NOT smoke in the room" He then proceeds to tell me we did. (Trust me if we did smoke in the room I would have admitted to it! BUT I DID NOT) He proceeded to make comments of the smell. Then I brought up how when I checked in there was a horrible stench in the room but we didn't say anything because we were barely at the hotel, we really just needed a place to sleep. Then he comes back with the line, "Well you should have told us earlier". Which I agree I should have but I didn't think they were going to treat me like this. The man wasn't going to give me my deposit back. Then I tried to get it back considering the fact that we had a horrible stay: the stench was horrible and was clearly coming from the shower and the worms in the shower. He then started yelling at me telling me "You should have told us earlier about the worms". I responded explaining "How could I have seen the worms if I just took a shower 10 mins ago?" STILL YELLING at me he said "Well you should have told us earlier" (clearly the only line he knows) HE CONTINUES to cut me off and not letting me speak saying "he doesn't want to hear it" as if he were an authority towards me! He finally decides to give me the deposit back, probably because he realized that I was right and he was wrong. The clerk was still defensive towards me saying "We were never allowed to come back and we were red-flagged" I replied, "Well I don't want to come back if you guys have worms and you guys don't care" and he ended with "WELL WE DONT WANT YOU HERE" Don't come here if YOU (their customers) want to treated like crap and want to be blamed for THEIR cleanliness of their hotel. They don't care about the cleanliness and don't care about YOU as a guest. Hospitality means owning up to your Hotels mistakes and apologizing it instead of antagonizing the customer and yelling at them. After reading previous reviews after my experience, it looks like they have history specially the clerk (pictured below) disrespecting their guests and treating them as if they don't matter. They are nice to you until you have a problem with your hotel, THEN THEY GET DEFENSIVE.

    Condoms! Beer caps and filth!

Filthy room condoms under the bed not safe for children everyone is smoking weed right next to your door Extremely rude front desk yelling me something is wrong with me, and that for 11 years no one complaint Place looked like a cheap sex motel disgusting Towels dirty, staff tells me to bring it to the front desk the lazy mother can't bring them to me Aweful!!! Terrible !!! Stay away!!!!

What do they offer for breakfast?

Pastries, bagels, toast. Some dry cereal. They may have had orange juice too. They do have refrigerators in your room, so if you want to bring yogurt or something small that is perishable you can.

Unfortunately, unlike that experience, our stay here at Woodland Hills was less than satisfactory. The front desk personnel were not friendly. I completely understand that their job is not easy, but is it too much to expect some warmth from someone whose job is to be warm and friendly? Breakfast seemed like a nice spread but was not replenished, so you were often left with the dregs of the food. There were no staff members to attend the guests, so no bowls/plates was quite the norm at breakfast during our 3-day stay. The valet parking of $31+ a day was an annoyance; the valets were the only friendly staff that we encountered. When I called the hotel about a billing question, I kept getting an annoying AI responder. Why can't a real person answer phone calls? Overall, this Home2Suites did not live up to Hilton's standards.

The front desk initially suggested that might have been the reason, but I clarified it was not on the door. When I spoke to another staff member, I was told the cleaning staff might be on strike, which sounded completely made up--especially since someone else had already apologized and admitted my room was simply overlooked. The shower gel in the bathroom was nearly empty upon arrival. For a three-night stay, basic items like this should be checked and fully stocked in advance. Breakfast was also very disappointing. Many items were gone, and staff did not replenish them. You are left with banana, yogurt, oatmeal. Additionally, the elevator service was extremely slow. With only two elevators available, one broke down at one point, causing chaos and long wait times as lines quickly formed. They offer tea in the lobby, but unfortunately, the water was cold--another small detail that reflects poor attention to guest experience. The valet staff was friendly--and frankly, they should be, given the $31 per night charge, which felt like a complete rip-off. Overall, the service and maintenance fell below expectations, and I hope the hotel improves its attention to detail and communication moving forward.

I was near the back on the upper floor, and it was quiet. I had a little kitchenette in a separate little breakfast nook, which was nice. Cue mini fridge and microwave. I stayed here based on the ratings, which is surprising that there are ratings that are positive. As a woman and a mother are those two reasons alone I would never stay here again. During check-in, another guest was overly close to me. I arrived at night and when I left the office to go to my room, this guest was standing outside, waiting for me and then proceeded to wait outside his hotel room to see which room I was entering. I let the front office now and they eventually got me into a different room that was out of this guest view this new room on the first floor and unfortunately, all three windows in the room did not lock. I tried everything and I could not get them to catch or stay closed which was super concerning to me. I had to leave for work early in the morning and when I went out to leave, I found that a car had parked perpendicular right in front of me illegally and I was unable to move thus making me late for work later that night or should I say early in the morning at 2 AM my neighbor was blasting their music. I heard the front desk come over in pound incessantly at the door and the guest will not open the door. I heard the guests in the room, but they were not opening for management. I was trying to get some sleep, but between this guest and their music and the windows, not locking and the man watching me I ended up checking out at 3 AM and went down to sleep to sleep in my car where I felt more safe all in all it was an absolutely awful experience.
