Within the confines of Terminal 1, Hermann's seemed like my best option. I had the rindwurst with sauerkraut and a beer, and it felt like a perfect little Frankfurt experience. The rindwurst had a nice snap to it, and good flavor. This was food I would have been happy to eat even if I wasn't stuck at an airport. I liked it enough that a couple hours later I went back for another, and also tried the surprisingly great potato salad and a serviceable pretzel that in retrospect I could have done without. If I'm at the Frankfurt Airport again, I would definitely get a rindwurst and potato salad. Service was friendly on both visits. The decor was cute and the place was comfortable enough. Prost!

The only lounge in this part of the airport (Terminal 1 section B) is before security, and so we chose not to go to a lounge and to come here instead.

There is plenty of free street parking and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. Would come back for another burger or try a steak one day.
