Great place to eat when you are in terminal B at the Frankfurt airport. The place is crowded most of the time. We decided to wait for available table, although the host was trying to convince us to go upstairs to another of their restaurants. There are many choices of good food to choose from. We ordered the Scandinavian breakfast( smoked salmon, scramble eggs and toasts), and the Italian omelet with veggies. I opted to switch the toast for croissant. The coffee was delicious. There are no refills in Europe. Breakfast is served all day. There are many options for any kind of eater. Fish, seafood, vegan dishes, salads, traditional German dishes with sausage and schnitzel and many more. Stuff was very friendly.

    Baked potato

This restaurant is located in terminal 1 B of Frankfurt Airport. For my starter, I had the baked potato with herb cream dip, fried mushrooms and onions, and salad. I ordered the "True German" : 3 sausages (frankfurter, beef, bratwurst) on a bed of sauerkraut with a pretzel. Portions were huuuge, decently priced (49€ for 2 starters and 2 main dishes), and hearty, although the sausages and the mushrooms were a bit too salty. Their menu is comprehensive and includes something for all tastes (sausages, burgers, curry and rice, salmon, steak, pasta, fitness salads, soups, etc.). The only downside was that my waitress was very rude and refused to meet very simple demands. Extremely unprofessional. The other waiters and waitresses seemed nice enough though.

    Absolutely loved this meal!

Here for a layover.. Usually airport food is nasty & expensive... Not sure what people think as costly. Both of us are hungry & after we followed our noses to this place. We had the true German plate, which is a variety of 3 different sausages, sauerkraut, fresh pretzel & two kinds of mustard. 1 sausage was a beef one referred to as Munich (white) sausage was not a good as the other sausages. All quite tasty, spouse was pleased with the tasty plate. Ended up being too full to finish the plate. I had the baked potato which was served with a sauce of sour cream, mushrooms, onions, beef & a nice side salad. The potatoes was different & I thoroughly enjoyed the sauce. The grilled mushrooms & onions were great, mixed with the sauce the meal literally melts in your mouth. The salad which was a nice size, had a vinaigrette dressing. The salad was amazing with cherry tomatoes, sunflower & pumpkin seeds. If we are ever here again, we are definitely eating here again. Oh not to mention the cold, great tasting draft German beer.

    The "Nuremberg Connection" Breakfast

We're here to have our lunch before boarding the Air China CA966 to Beijing. We shared the "Nuremberg connection" breakfast and "fitness pure" salad. Delicious as expected. A bit expensive compared to outside but what the heck, it's delicious. Service also very good and friendly. $$$

    Yummy bacon!

This breakfast was just what I needed after a long flight. I had fried eggs, bacon, and toast. The bacon was the bomb! Fantastic. The orange juice was rather tasty as well. Traveler beware! They will charge you for everything, even water! I asked for jelly and the waiter said there would be a charge. This is why I'm only giving three stars. So, in short, very pricey, but tasty.

This place is a restaurant / deli serving various types of food choices, beers, wines and coffee. The full menu is served after 10am. Food was good (two Munich sausage and pretzel), service was a little slow, pricey for the food.

They have a few vegan items on the menu. We were so grateful that everything was labeled clearly.

Since it is a deli the food is displayed so you can just point at what you want. You can also choose the amount, this is good for experimentation. Along with being traditional, the food is decently priced. It's also centrally located near the historical city hall. There is outdoor seating on picnic tables, but you can take it to go. My boyfriend had fleischkäse which I can only describe as a slice of bologna -loaf. It is served warm and I hear sometimes with an egg. He had it with fried potatoes. I had a Kalbsfrickadellen. It was a well seasoned fried meatball. It was appetizing and sastisfieng. Not too strange. The potato salad was on the the sweet side. Both dishes were served with a dollop of mustard.

Reuben sandwiches in Frankfurt…read more That just about says it all. Over two decades I've been here and somebody finally opens a kosher deli style shop right before I leave. *sigh* Anyway... bit of a hipsterish place in the Bahnhofsviertel. There is no outside signage and the proprietors are apparently proud of the graffiti on the exterior walls since they haven't bothered cleaning it off. In sideis well renovated but relatively small so you might be sharing a table. I had a reuben. Small was nine something and the large 13 something. At first I was taken aback by the price but the sandwich really is big. Pastrami is homemade so nice and juicy from the oven and piled very high. Like New York deli high. Cheese and kraut kind of got lost in there but hey, who ever complains about too much pastrami? Not me. Served with a pickle and a small portion of coleslaw. Very good sandwich. However.... at around €30 for Mrs. S and I to have a good sandwich and a couple of sodas.... that's when you really consider just making it at home. PS: I love the fact that yelp has an ambiance option called "hipster". Saves me moaning.
