Friendly couple was next to me and had a nice chat. Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. I got the veal schnitzel dish with the green sauce. Excellent. He also made me a very good Old Fashion drink. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Had to translate the menu as the woman serving us didn't speak English but there were pictures to help. Turkish tea was nicely brewed and the eggs, tho not served scrambled like I thought I had requested, were really satisfying. I'd def recommend this place if you have time to burn on a layover and are looking for quick breakfast that is open early. Nearly every other 'reputable' spot didn't open till 10a.

We had the wiener schnitzel sandwich which comes with breaded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and mayo on bread. We ordered a side of fries which seemed to come from the other German restaurant close by. The sandwich was mediocre at best. It seemed like the chicken had been sitting out for a while as it was a little mushy and lukewarm. Pretty disappointing as we were expecting a fresh sandwich from a sit-down restaurant. The other half of the meal was great. The fries were straight out of the fryer and crispy. We also got a heaping amount of fries which was a surprise given portion sizes in Europe. A German beer to round out the meal wasn't too shabby either. German beer is always good. They offered them in three different sizes.

Sure, he figured he could get a few extra $$ out of a suspecting traveler. Be aware of service staff. They are not anywhere up to the standards of actual waiting services provided in the States, where tips are deserving and earned.
