We where greeted very friendly and seated promptly. The decorations where nice and festive for the Christmas season. We got a free Ouzo after being seated that was a nice gesture. We ordered: Sternquell Pils and Atlantis red wine: The wine was very good. Akropolis- Platte for 2 people: Gyros, 2 Lamb chops, 2 Suwlaki, 2 pork steaks, Greek Noodles, Garlic potato's, Tsatziki and 2 side salads. We opted for one regular salad and one Kraut salad. They even decorated the plates individually was nice. Everything was very good and flavorful I would recommend this "Platte" since you can try everything, the Tsatziki was amazing my favorite. The Meats and potato's where yummy. We ordered a side or rice to try as well. After asking for some spice we where given grilled Peperoni they where great rounded out our amazing meal. The Restaurant is very nice the food Amazing, the service wonderful and the location is perfect there is plenty parking outside of the Passage. When in the area again this will be our go to Greek!!

My vegan friend is often challenged finding food and this evening was no different. They also delivered the wrong dish to me. I found this interesting since we ordered by number. They made good and brought me some separate lamb chops later. Sadly the chops weren't what I hoped for, a bit thin and lacking the hoped for flavor. The rest of the meal was fine with way too much on the plate. They offered more ouzo at the end as a form of further compensation but I declined. Like many places in Weiden they were busy with holiday parties and those coming in from the Christkindlmarkt. Plan accordingly. Finally, the host doesn't care for credit cards as they have to pay a substantial fee. They will take them but better with cash for larger groups. A 3.5 rounds to an over generous 4.

I ordered a dunkleweisen and kebab with pita plate. Both were awesome choices! The kebab meat is mouth watering -- every single piece somehow manages to be a crispy edge piece. The pita was warm and soft. The tzatziki sauce was cool and tangy. And, all these rich flavors were cut beautifully by the slices of raw onion. I could give or take the rice but with so any other wonderful things on the plate, it was no big deal to just leave the rice uneaten. Things went a little squirrely at the end of the meal when I needed to pay with a credit card. After a little back and forth with the waiter, we figured it out, but I'd suggest just going with euro to avoid any awkwardness.

After I ordered, he brought me a shot of ouzo. Haven't had this in a while. After the meal, another shot of ouzo found its way to my table. The rump steak was good. It had a garlic butter sauce on top, but otherwise, not as flavorful as I'd prefer. The shining point was the staff. They came to my table several times judt to talk. The free shots were also a bonus. So glad I stopped in tonight. Worth the trip.

I think maybe the draft Pils would have been an even better choice. Parking was limited but I found a spot around the corner. The restaurant was nice and modern and clean. The hostest was nice and while did not speak English she understands down English. She was polite and efficient as she took my order and brought my beer all within the first few minutes.
