He gave this cost to myself and my adjacent neighbor (splitting the tree felling, wood removal and stump removal cost) Jon, was working in my neighborhood, and had others he was doing work for, said his crew was going to be on my site on Friday & Saturday, later the same week. Since his stump grinding machine would be onsite at another neighbors home, after her tree was felled, and the wood removed. On Friday he contacted my neighbor, because he was unable to contact me on Friday afternoon. Called Jon, he said his crew would be there after some storm damage work completed on Monday morning. Jon (owner) arrives Monday morning, with another individual, "introduced his safety guy", and walks around tree, further inspecting it. Me and my neighbor, get the "You need to contact another tree company for wood removal cost, as I live up north, and cannot haul the wood away". Also that the previous cost given didn't include this (wood removal), or the stump removal. TLDR = Owner gave a complete tree removal cost with stump removal, had customer wait several days before showing up, then gave it another look and refused to honor his cost. Zero stars, Owners word means nothing, even with 2 witnesses to his given inspection and complete tree removal cost.

Hartman replaced our three roofs back in the late 90s and they were fantastic back then so we knew…read morewho to call when we saw that it was time to get the roofs replaced this summer. We called and Al was extremely professional and respectful and was able to break down when we would be on the schedule and how to go about choosing the type and color of shingles for our roofs. During the installation, the crew was on time every day and worked extremely hard until around 5 or 6PM during the three day installation period. They also did a great job protecting the buildings with wood boards so no damage was done with the old roofing material falling down. There was a girl on the crew and she did an excellent job cleaning up and removing the old shingles and she spent a long time walking around with a magnet looking for missed nails and staples. We have a house downstate that had a roof done around five years ago and we are still finding nails and staples downstate and so far, we haven't found any left over from Hartman. The crew also seemed to enjoy themselves as they were singing every day and making each other laugh. We will continue to use Hartman down the road and recommend them to anyone!
