I wish I was allowed to give zero stars ! I received a past due notice for services I NEVER contrated them to perform. I recieve multiple solitation letters from them and promptly throw them away. I was shocked when I received this notice. It is written in a condescending manner implying I don't understand what I agreed to and how wonderful their services were. Well, I don't understand because I did not contract them to perform any services on my behalf . The thought of having to battle them in court for their underhanded business practices is appalling to me ! DONT USE_ They are thieves!!! Sold my house 3 years ago - paid them every year. After three years get a $200 bill -- WHY do they always wait years to contact me- - It happen even when I still owned my home.... I cant take a day off from work to fight $200. Horrible. Send you solicitation Letters eventhough I don't even know what they are doing for me for this Tax year. Nasty customer service. They are so incompetent that they currently have an answering machine Stating that they will be closed in July 1 to 8th, it is now SEPTEMBER! Get a Clue if they can't get that right do you think they are going to fight for your taxes. I have made the mistake of signing with them, but never again. I used them one year and paid them for their services and they waited five years to come up with a false claim of representing me for an additional tax year. Total fraud. Do not use them. They are a scam agency. The collection process is a scam as well. The law firm they hire should be sued as well. I plan to sue them. I gave them one star based on the above. I was given the name of this company from my existing tax guy who is retiring. After reading all reviews which are just negative from others I'm going to look elsewhere. This Company "tax correction Agency Inc." states that I had signed for their services on line- they went ahead and did a tax correction based on what looks like a forged signature when compared to the signature of my drivers license even . The contact number they have on file for me is a disconnected land line that I don't even know off the top of my head. They filed the tax correction based off solicitation emails they had sent to my to my email that I have not used for any financial transactions as it is from before I was married and is riddled with SPAM. All financial interactions are completed with my husband using our shared email. This company went on to send correspondence to my home with the wrong last name (wrong spelling) so it was ignored since I would not have set up a tax grievance without my husband and it looked like junk mail/a scam. Now this company is taking me to court for a service that I did not authorize and I will now need to take a day off from work to fight it. With 2 small children and a very fixed budget this is a lot to have to go through for a scam company (as I have seen from multiple reviews of them online- it seems they have done this before). I hope to settle out of court but part of me wants to go to court just to out them as a scam and report this company to the DA as fraud. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

so as an update - this outfit waits 5 or 6 years to bring a lawsuit apparently HOPING you can't find the proof that YOU DID ALREADY PAY them - even though they led you to believe they take their fee from your REFUND (which, by the way, you never get) & when you CAN STILL produce your cancelled check - they offer a "settlement". LOL. Also, I recommend you make them PRODUCE THE CONTRACT they allege you hired them because they will also try and do 2 or 3 consecutive years, even though you never actually authorized them to represent you.
