While trying to call my hairdresser, I noticed this woman was taking things out of her jade green Lexus. When she saw me standing by the salon door, she shouted a comment at me but I didn't hear what she said. She took stuff inside her office, then came back outside to apparently get more. Then, out of nowhere, this woman began to shout at me that she knows I am there to "carry out their business (not sure if she was referring to the hair salon) and I was conspiring against her!!!!" She went back in her office. WHAT!!?? Now I have NEVER seen this woman in my life, so I don't know who she is or what she was talking about. Later, I learned that it is customary of her being hostile to customers visiting businesses in that strip area by shouting ludicrous accusations against them. Hmmh!

I have been coming to this location for a few years now (first they were next to a Publix and now they are in another part of the same shopping plaza, in a remodeled, ritzy spot, which is when they changed their name to Block Advisors). I have been happy with the services of Helene Graff, who is an EA (enrolled agent). An EA is authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS for audits, collections, and appeals, according to the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). EAs advise, represent and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts and any entities with tax-reporting requirements. EA's only tend to focus on preparing taxes, and many specialize in tax resolution. In addition to an IRS-administered testing and application process, enrolled agents must complete at least 72 hours of continuing education every three years. I have felt confident in her abilities and have yet to have an issue with my taxes. An accountant I had engaged prior to her had told me I owed over $3,000 to the IRS and had a week or two to pay it before they charged interest and the debt would just keep escalating. I came to Helene almost in tears that time (sorry but I don't have $3,000 lying around in my bank account, and I cannot come up with that amount in a week or two unless I prostitute myself or sell drugs...not exactly the best options for anyone). She looked over my taxes and not only did I not owe that to the IRS but they owed ME a refund. Anyone who can help me get out of a bind or a debt has my business and full endorsement, so I have been a customer for the past 3 years. Because she is an EA, she can tackle some quite complicated tax returns. Mine can be a bit challenging, which is why I come to her. They also offer business solutions and business advice, payroll, bookkeeping and tax planning year-round, both for companies and for individuals. They are open year-round until 9 p.m. most days, and they are open 7 days a week, making it convenient for anyone to come either during the week or during the weekend, whenever one can catch a break.
