Basically me and my business partner approached Gustavo Rodriguez a few years ago to set up an S corp for us. He instead set up a C corp. Diego the assistant Has lied to me repeatedly about speaking to Gustavo, Natalie has lied to me and told me she would get me the required documents. Went here in 2021 for the 2020 tax year, my taxes were rejected and went from the 6000 they told me to 2900 and still charged me 300-400 dollars and did not help at all when i asked them to find out what happened. I can't even begin to explain how bad I am with my taxes... Didn't file 2010, 2014, or 2015. Looking to get a lot of tax work done, I searched for a place that would not only have enough experience but also the skills to get my papers all in order for it to be as painful as possible for me. Being a complete tax newb, and tired of disappointment from places like H&R block, and not feeling up to the task of doing it myself with TurboTax; I stopped by their house to see what the reviews were all about. I walk in without an appointment, wait no more than 8-10 minutes and get to talk to Gustavo. Long story short, this guy knows his stuff. He is young but incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. He put everything in perspective and simplicity for me to understand that not even CPAs down in Brickell could do for me. His office is also rigged up with a nice big Monitor for you to see what he is doing, USB dongle to easily share documents, the works. We got everything done in under an hour and I was back home before rush hour. But the best thing about Tax House Miami is that it doesn't even feel like a tax office, at all. It has such a calm and relaxing atmosphere when you walk in. The old Miami style house is well taken care of and sleek. Central location on 79th St is great too. My husband went to file both of our taxes with THM. At the time Gus told my husband he would not send out our taxes until we gave him some documentation he needed. When my husband told me the amount we were getting I was not happy with the amount so I decided to see if I can get a second opinion. My husband called THM right away to advise them we would not file the taxes with them and they basically filed our tax returns while they were speaking to my husband so they could get paid. I will never go them again!! And also not recommend them to anyone!! Extremely disappointed that they would try to do a quick hustle like that!! Then Gus advised my husband to get his taxes amended so he could charge us another $150 for taxes he didn't file correctly!! Btw they charge close to $250 to file your tax returns! read more
