Not sure why this is confusing. As an accountant, Joe should have taken responsibility for interpreting client‑provided data correctly. Instead he calculated the income incorrectly then blamed me. This seems to be a low‑cost, high‑volume operation where work feels rushed, quality suffers, and service is mediocre at best. It appears Joe relies heavily on tech to move quickly, which is fine with me, but when questioned, it seems he has no time to dig into the numbers to address the questions (never explained the discrepancy in the depreciation schedule). This experience was stressful, disappointing, and far below my expectations. I do not recommend this firm.

I was recommended to Ivy by my sister, who has had Ivy do her taxes for over 20 years. I had a very…read moredifficult tax year, with a lot of variables like work from home, plus work outside of the home, plus medicare. My first rough quote by a free tax preparer was $9,000 more than what Ivy prepared. She went through even possible way I could save on my taxes, she worked for me, not the IRS. Her office is centrally located, but you can also do your taxes remotely, which my sister has done since she moved to Orlando, then VA, then back to Orlando. I can't say enough about how wonderful Ivy was. She was calm and not critical of everything presented. My last tax CPA was curt, even accusing me of using my children's 529 when all he had to do was ask and I showed him receipts for UCF and study abroad, because I could not claim her, as she had aged out, he assumed she didn't exist. Ivy is always professional and her calming presence put me immediately at ease. She's also very efficient, she scanned all my documents in front of me and asked very smart questions, not belittling one.
