I only gave this company 1 star because you have to give some type of rating. There are only 2 other post about this company and they were both in Aug 2013... that should be a tip off (A relative or they work at the company) !!! I contacted this company because of a radio commercial I heard, but I wish I would have done my homework a little better. I should have known that companies in MI are like the Major of MI corrupt and dishonest. Their company sales pitch is good and will convince you that they will help, but beware they don't have your best interest in mind! I paid $$$ for them to assist me with a tax issue, however once they got my money I had an extremely hard time getting someone to reply to my multiple phones calls and emails and when I did speak with someone it was like starting the process all over again. There NEVER did a thing to help me and NEVER contacted the IRS on my behalf. In talking to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) I was able to contact another company National Taxpayer Assistance who were extremely professional and helpful. National Taxpayer Assistance returned all my calls and answered all my questions and did exactly what they said they would do! I listened to KFI radio station in Los Angeles in the early morning hours from work. I heard repetitive on air advertisement about this firm Tax Results. I have had an ongoing tax situation developing with a pending IRS Levy received at my employer's. They responded with loads of online forms to fill in. They quickly removed my funds of $3,100 from my bank account. The Levy was removed but no other services such as a Installment Agreement or Offer In Compromise were performed. I filed a complaint at the California State Attorney General's website. I received their assistance in reaching the Michigan Attorney General's Office and they contacted the firm. The answer was completely frivolous. The dates of the firms response was 6 months behind the original date of service and was poorly written with poor grammar and mechanic errors. I have printed the Yelp Reviews and will send them to the Michigan Attorney Generals Office and the Tax Results Attorney a Mr Kim Corbin, 15206 Mack Avenue Suite 1, Gross Pointe Park, MI 48230 (313) 886-4466 to serve as proof of their fraudulent business practices. Hopefull,y the Michigan Attorney General will send me a list of lawyers to file a small claims suit for the remuneration of my fee's. The IRS said they never responded to any of their letters. Through the Freedom of Information Act you can receive all written correspondence in your IRS tax file as proof of their failure to respond. Please sue this firm. Californians complain to the Attorney General and any Federal Agency IRS, NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents), FTC Federal Trade Commission, (SEC) Securities and Exchange Commission we can Stop the Internet Interstate Fraud. If only 5% of Californians complain we can STOP THEM. IdentityTheft is a clear danger because of all the sensitive information tax filing requires. We need ZERO Stars for this group. I signed up with them October of 2014. They did not send me all of the paperwork needed to act on my behalf with the State of CA, only the IRS, even though my initial interview made it clear I needed help with the state. They were happy to take half of my fee upfront and suck out the rest monthly from my account. Imagine my surprise when the State froze my bank account in July before my bills/rent got paid. Imagine my surprise when they said they didn't have my CA Franchise Tax Board papers on file, well I was NEVER given them. They sent them, gave me wrong FAX number (after I paid $5 to send them) and wanted me to resend them. HELLO! The state froze my account! Where's this money supposed to come from. Tax Results stopped taking or returning my calls. I had to fight with the state myself and they gave me a year to get my situation resolved before they'd do it again. So now I need a refund so I can hire someone else. I filed a Better Business Bureau report which was closed because this business did not respond. Where is the Zero star rating??? The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Started out in Jan. saying I was approved and that they could help, about a 40 phone calls, 100 emails, 4 different people handling my account and 8 months later they DID NOTHING!!! Didn't even file the POA when I returned it the next day, I did everything they required within 24 hrs and I gave them 8 months and $1500. In the end out of "GOOD FAITH" they did return 1/2 of the amount I paid them after I reported them to BBB , let alone the additional late fees and penalties for Tax Results not living up to their end of the deal. STAY AWAY, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY $$$$ Waiting for the Tax Authority ??? That's why for 8 months Tax Results was saying " Everything was done and taken care of and there is nothing else you need to do". In the mean time I was current on my payments and I was charged thousands of extra dollars in penalties and late fees, and on top of that I was NOW getting a garnishment of over $1000 per month taken out of my salary. That $1000 is my house payment, and if you want me to send you ANY of yours or the other 4 people emails who handled my case there stated " your account is taken care of" I will. Love this company, I am a Real Estate agent and often have problems closing deals for clients because of property liens stemming from the clients tax problems. I have sent numerous clients to Tax Results and we have only had one situation where the problem couldn't be resolved and that was because the client had the ability to pay the delinquent tax bill and essentially didn't want to. Tax Results is a SCAM Company! My husband and have been audited by the IRS and it was imperative that we get professional and high quality help. Our initial experience with Tax Results was from a gentleman named Jeffrey Perkowski, Director of Business Development. He is obviously an excellent sales person that knows how get business and charge credit cards for this company. After signing documents and sending IRS paperwork to Jeff, we found, that weeks later, when we called for an update, that they "never" received our paperwork (even though Jeff said he received it all). Can someone say "loan modification process"? Our arrangement was to pay a $2500 flat fee at $500 per month for them to append 2 past years of taxes and to complete 2011's taxes. After months of unreturned calls, questions with no clear answers and several lost documents, we made the final call to say that we were cancelling and wanted our money back. we have heard nothing but paid the last $500 in January so they can't say that we did not keep our payment arrangement. We have had no proactive calls from them and the only time we talk is when we miraculously get passed the offsite answering service. When we have contacted Vice President of Operations, Brad Patrick, on several occasions and while he has answered a few of our calls his only problem solving technique is to move us from one bad agent to the next. This only begins the cycle of lost documents and absent communication. The last straw was when the IRS contacted us for payment of our back taxes!! We retained Tax Results in June 2011 with a 3K payment. We had came out of bankruptcy but our balance due to the IRS and state tax agencies was driving us out of business. We were being threatened by the state tax agency with closure and was told by Tax Results that they would stop that from happening and lower our balances and payments. They didn't or couldn't do anything and we were closed for two days and had to come up with 5k for a down payment on our taxes. We sent numerous emails and made phone calls to them with little or no response for 7 months. We were switched to different case workers throughout the process, from Winston Churchill to Victor Visocchi to Jamal Ahmed and then back to Victor. We were once told that they made an offer to one of tax agencies without ever discussing the offer with us. I contacted Brad Patrick the VP of operations several times getting nowhere.I asked for a refund a number of times with no answer, It was only after I posted some negative comments in the web that Brad contacted me and asked me to send him a letter stating why I felt I deserved a refund. I complied with his ludicrous request and after a month received an invoice that they wanted me to sign. It was a bill for 2K in charges for "communicating" with the tax agencies and they they would refund only 1K. Since I refused to sign it they will not refund me any money. This is their guarantee: "If we can't save you more money than what we charge to resolve your case, the fee will be refunded." 5/4/12 Received a call form their attorney that they will only refund the $1000 if i remove all negative reviews of them. Every time I called them to do the job I hired them for they would give me another case worker and we would start all over again. Zero Stars! I explained our unusual situation to TaxResults (frivoulous filing penalties) and only asked if they could reduce the penalties. I was doubtful they could help but they insisted that they could and ACCEPTED our case and our money. We were constantly reminded over the next 9 months that if they couldn't do anything our money would be refunded as their Money Back Guarantee states. When they finally gave up and threw in the towel, Brad Patrick, the head honcho, refused to give us our money back saying that our case had cost them many hours. After 4 years of no satisfaction and still no results, I have reviewed these comments and realized this Michigan company is not interested in helping Californians. I see all the negative reviews are from my home state, CA, and I too was pulled into the fray by KFI 640 and their enticing commercials! What a huge mistake! I continued to believe our assigned agent and he continually advised to pay monthly that a positive solution was imminent. As I was working 12 hour days and tending ailing family members, I kept trusting that eventually the results would be positive. Mind you, this was a very old debt and only required minimum work on the agent's part. I could rage on and on about my dissatisfaction but that would not bring the results we need.
