I checked out the website and saw that they charge $30 for a set up which is very reasonable. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I even got a tour with Matt and it was great talking about music and all. They have lots of really nice guitars and artwork. It's a very comfortable environment and no pressure to buy anything. If you are a musician or an art lover definitely check out this hidden gem.

The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is a more extensive museum then you would expect. Parking…read moreis located across the street and there is plenty of it, with the main entrance being easy to find. Entry fee was reasonable at $10 and the area doubles as the small gift shop. Tentatively, within the next few months, they are opening a second building across the street with even more exhibits, despite how much they already have. Also, this is a traditional auto museum so it does not have hands on exhibits for kids. At the start of the tour is an optional short film with information about the museum. This museum is located in the former Boyertown Auto Body Works and mainly features vehicles made in Pennsylvania or having some relationship to the state, including vehicles that were assembled in this building. Most of the vehicles here are older and extremely rare, with some from the 1910's. I found the 1912 Sears Motor Buggy and 1940 American Bantam Roadster to be interesting examples. Due to the body works customization of trucks, they also include vehicles like a Mister Softee Ice Cream truck, International Half Ton military conversion, and a Post office truck. Three full size buildings that are great for taking pictures at are in the building including a Sunoco service station, Fegely's Reading Diner, and a Tourist Cabin. Also included here are various bicycles, sleds, motorcycles, and even a small camper. This is all just on the first floor. On the second floor is the Jeremiah Sweinhart Carriage Factory that includes a machine shop, blacksmith area, carriages, and sleds. Attached to this floor is The Carriage Barn, which includes additional carriages and sleds, including an interesting funeral carriage. Staff were lovely to chat with and a good resource of information about the vehicles. Overall, the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is easily worth an hour of your time and a great value.

In the heart of Abington, and about a hundred yards away from the Roslyn train station, you can…read morefind Briar Bush, a hidden nature preserve tucked away on Edge Hill road. With scenic walking trails, an outdoor classroom, day camps and a small indoor animal habitat, Briar Bush is a great spot for small children, couples on a date, or anyone looking for a brief respite from the urgency of the modern world. With free admission for locals and a small fee for out-of-towners, the preserve is accessible to all patrons provided that they are able to walk down some wooded trails that circle through the admittedly short walking routes. The centerpiece of the trails is a picturesque, secluded pond with benches for sitting and an interactive sign with information on the local fauna and flora. The indoor animal habitat has a small gift shop, pamphlets on upcoming events and information on other parks in the area, and several interesting animals such as a blind possum named Odin, a bearded lizard named Karl, and several other unique turtles and reptiles. All of Briar Bush can be walked through in an hour or so, but the low admission, interactive nature events and scenic walking trails will have you wanting to return again soon.

One plus hours to get .3 miles up hill from Baltimore Pike to parking entrance - one police officer until PA State trooper showed up with no where to turn around and high tail it out, basically trapped:( Please organize better & get the word out that you have! For over 7,000 people attending ~ yikes.

Didn't get handicap parking when we needed it. So we had to walk a good distance while pushing a wheel chair to get to the entrance. I didn't know they only accepted cash and not card so once I arrived to the ticket stand the lady sitting at the stand told me they had a ATM machine and where to find it but refused to let me use it, which I couldn't understand. When I asked if I could use it to pay for my ticket she literally laughed at me and told me no I could not use their ATM machine and would not tell me why, she then assisted the person behind me in line. Another lady approached me and ended up having a free voucher ticket and gave it to me. I don't have any plans on ever coming back here for any event that is held.
