Once awarded the contract, Chris met with us before digging and pouring the footings and again before building the foundation walls. I could turn the 2x4's of the framing 360 degrees with my bare hands, tresses did not match each other, the garage opening was only 7.25' wide, and the list goes on. We finally had to sue him for our $50,000 because we could not find another construction company willing to take over the job; each said the previous work would have to be demolished and a whole new structure built. We sued him and his father-in-law paid his debt. Come to find out this was the SECOND 'mistake' his father-in-law had resolved. I paid him over 28k, and I paid for most of the materials myself. He is very dishonest, and made promises that he NEVER intended to keep. He said he would call me to schedule a meeting to talk about a refund, and he hasn't returned any of my calls, emails or text. if you are considering him for a job, DON'T!!!!! He and his workers who are not licensed, scratched my laminate flooring in 3 rooms. Unfortunately my flooring is no longer available so the rooms would need to be completely replaced. He said he could fix the scratches, but he hasn't. He has no regard for personal property.
