Really frustrated with this company and the whole process of purchasing a new mower. The purchase…read morepart was easy, they took my money quickly, then had to wait for a grass catcher to be ordered, so got delivery about a little over a week later. We parked it in the garage, and three days later I went to do my first mow, and it wouldn't start, after several attempts, we had to jump it off, and as long as I didn't let it stop, I was able to mow. Also, the bag catcher didn't fit properly, but now I find out its because I didn't have it installed properly, it would have been nice if someone would have taken the time to show me how to put it on properly, but that would take customer service skills. After my first mow, I called them, they came out and put a new battery on, and supposedly it was fixed, again, about 3 days after that, I got on it to do my 2nd mow, and guess what, it wouldn't start. I made sure my arms were in the right position, and everything was correct, but just clicking. I had to jump it and again, it jump started immediately, and I was able to mow again, but by this time, I'm just angry, i've paid a lot of $$ for a new mower, I shouldn't have to jump start it each time. So I called them again, and they said well, sometimes we get some machines that just aren't right, and they have to work with them, so they came out again to pick up, this time, they kept it for over a week, they claim that it has started everytime they've attempted, so they can't find anything wrong with it. I asked them, if I get this back, and it doesn't start, and we can prove its not user error, what is the process of giving this back, because I'm not going to be out the money, and I was told that they can't take it back, I would be stuck with it, but I could trade it in on something else, but not for the total sell price. I think if we reach that point, I will have my attorney contact them instead of me. So today, they delivered it back to my house, I told the manager Shane, to have them call me and I would open the garage so they could park it inside, if my wife didn't answer the door, and guess what, they just left it sitting in the middle of my driveway, never tried to get my wife to the door, and didn't call me for assistance. Moral of this story, you can purchase from them, they are happy to take your money, but after the transaction, don't expect any type of customer service...

Also, it's a good way to do all of your wash at once and save time you could use for something more fun than laundry . In town helping out family after surgery and had a bunch of bedding to do. Looked for the closest laundromat and was wary because this one had no reviews at all. I thought I might as well pop in before I drove all the way to Shelbyville. It's small, but relatively new or recently remodeled and quite clean as laundromats go. Eight each of standard front load washers and dryers, two each of supersized washers and dryers. One of the big washers was out of order today and the vending machine which I presume usually sells soap, etc. was empty. All else was in order. There's a grocery store next door and a dollar store a block away to buy supplies. Not enough reason to deduct a star.

The annual Shelby County Hazardous Waste Collection is held the first Saturday in October. Early in…read morethe summer we were cleaning our garage and looked for options in getting rid of car batteries, a tractor battery, 30+ yr old road flares, 5 gallon containers of deck sealer, transmission & hydraulic fluid, as well as a variety of bug sprays and dormant fruit tree sprays. We found there are few affordable options so we held all the items for this annual drop off event. For a full month before the event our local newspaper had weekly ads with precise information on items that are accepted, a definition of hazardous waste and a list of items that are not accepted. The ad also had contact information should you have any questions. The date, time and location was clearly stated. The date of the event we loaded up our station wagon and went to the drop off. There were probably 30 cars in line ahead of us and I thought it may take hours for us to have our turn to unload our car. I was wrong. The event was very well organized with plenty of staff in all the key spots. As you approached the actual drop off there were city employees verifying how you heard of the event, that you were a resident of Shelby County, the types of things you were dropping off and how far you travel to get to the site. This information helps them file for the grant that pays for this event. Then we proceeded to the actual drop off area and employees brought carts to the back of the car and rapidly unloaded our very full car. Start to finish the process took less than 1/2 hour.
