The entire quote/process/scheduling and communication from start to finish was awesome. Definitely a lot of pride in being a family owned company but still with all the capability of a big company. I had a big job for them crowning 1 large silver maple, and completely stump grinding my other rotting silver maple that probably had around a 5-6 foot in diameter stump when cut down. They picked up and replanted another tree I purchased, and overall just had a perfect experience. My neighbors have also used them and had the same experience. Contacted them through the Yelp system. I was offered a date and time for them to come provide an estimate. I accepted. They no showed. I called to ask if they were still coming and it was like they'd never heard of me. Not the mark of a company I want to do business with. Edit: I'm editing this review to highlight the incredibly unprofessional direct messages sent to me by the owner after I left a review. First, the owner attempted to claim that her company had never had any contact with me and that my review was fraudulent. After telling her that I had screenshot the appointment her company offered and that was already on the review, she tried to claim that I never accepted the appointment. I have all the emails, back and forth that prove I provided all my information (name, address, email, phone number). The company asked for that, I provided it and then they offered me the appointment (in the screencap, "if that works with you"). I responded the same day with "That works." I can't say enough good things about this family-owned company. I hesitate to gush too much as it may increase their business leaving less time for them to attend to my needs LOL. They are delightful to work with, extremely reasonable pricing, prompt and do a great job. They have now taken down 2 of my very large trees. One was very entangled within wires so I was nervous, but they were very careful and did a GREAT job! The other was a Silver Spruce and they did a GREAT job with that also! The bids I received from other companies were inflated with a bunch of junk, but Taylor was more than reasonable and under all of the others. They did a great job with the tree removal. Everything was cleaned up and taken care of nicely. I only took a star away because the communication was not great. Something had happened on my original scheduled date and they text me 15 minutes after they should have arrived to say they needed to reschedule. Similar on the second appointment time, they called me after the expected arrival time to say they would be out in about an hour. Overall the work was great, and the team was friendly. Summer and her team over-performed on every aspect she promised on the day of the job. In addition to raking up our whole yard and picking up things that had fallen prior to her arrival, she also found a live termite infestation in our willow tree. Thank goodness for her attention to detail, as that catch allowed us to act before any termites made it into our home.
