We made the trip up route 15 from Virginia…read more We spent delightful hours in the cherry trees picking the most delicious sweet cherries!! The trees were loaded with ripe fruits. The ground was clear of poison ivy and we felt clean and safe. The Lee were plenty of ladders to assist us in getting the high fruits. We then also visited the blueberry patch and loaded up a few pounds of those succulent fruits!

They have excellent apple cider. Yesterday we went on our usual visit to buy lots of apples and other fruits. On the website it claims, "Our apple bins are stocked full with 8 varieties; plus we have Honeycrisp for sale! We have lowered our pricing in recognition of the surplus crop this season. Support your local farmers! " We were excited to get all the varieties!! We walked in and no one greeted us. They just kept doing whatever they were doing. A couple was sorting apples in the back. We started picking out our apples when we noticed the price. WOW! Prices skyrocketed!! Even the pears were outrageous. Our honey crisp apples were 47! Not to mention we got other items as well. The seconds even went higher in price. We had the front counter full of stuff even know the increase in price because we believe in supporting local farmers. We were ready to checkout and had to say so, even when the lady was standing right there at the register. We asked about when they will have the 50 pound bags of potatoes in cause we been buying them there for years and look forward to them. "they are in when they are here". Was her answer!!! I could NOT believe that! She was just nasty and rude. Plus we always was helped when we bought so much to carry to our car that was parked right outside the door. That done it in for me. They lost a good customer and our family.

Smucker Gardens knows how to kick off fall in style! My first visit was for their 2025 Mum…read moreFestival, and let me tell you--it was everything I hoped for and then some. The Scene: Easy to find on GPS, well-signed from the road, and plenty of parking in the gravel lot. Their greenhouses are massive and overflowing with plants, and inside the main building you'll find home décor, gifts, and seasonal goodies galore. Prices lean a touch higher than some other local greenhouses, but given the location and setup, it felt fair. The Mum Festival: Perfectly organized. Food trucks up front (grab a bite first, wander later--smart!), vendor tents sprinkled throughout, live music filling the air, and kids' activities that looked like pure joy. It was a warm, sunny September Saturday--ideal fall fest weather. The Adventure: While mums and pumpkins were great for the vibe, my main goal was something a little...unexpected. The ad mentioned camel rides. Yes, CAMEL rides. At a mum fest. At 40 years old, I had never ridden a camel, and I wasn't about to miss my shot. I called ahead to confirm that the "kids activity" was indeed open to grown-ups, too. Fast forward to the fest--I see the sign: "Camel Rides $10 Per Person." Ten bucks for a once-in-a-Central-PA-lifetime adventure? SOLD. Nervous, excited, and slightly in disbelief, I climbed aboard. And it was everything I hoped it would be--totally worth the thrill (and the bragging rights). The Food: Yummy eats from food trucks and coffee from Brewboxx to keep the energy high. Perfect fuel for festival hopping. All in all: a fun, unique, and memorable event. Smucker Gardens is worth a visit on any regular day--but during Mum Fest? Add it to your fall bucket list.

Not only did Tiara plan and coordinate our entire day flawlessly, but she also created the most breathtaking floral arrangements we've ever seen. Every detail was perfection -- from the pillar arrangements and bouquets to the reception centerpieces and table settings. The flowers looked straight out of a magazine and perfectly matched the style and colors we had imagined. As our wedding coordinator, Tiara went above and beyond to make the entire day run smoothly. She handled every detail behind the scenes so we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. I didn't hear of any issues pop up on the wedding day, and I know without a doubt that Tiara was putting out all of the little fires behind the scenes, allowing me to peacefully enjoy my day. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the flowers and how beautifully everything flowed. We honestly don't know how we would've done it without Tiara! If you're looking for someone who is organized, talented, and genuinely passionate about what they do, Tiara is the one. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Super whimsical and wildflower vibes (just like we wanted). She did a few arrangements for our rehearsal that we used at the reception, plus did our bouquets and boutonnieres, an arbor arrangement for the ceremony, and greeny and bud vases for reception tables. She is super easy to work with and very receptive to what you want. I would definitely recommend her for all your wedding flower needs!
