Despite a lot of vandalism, it's still beautiful and it seems like these days it's being taken care of much better. I can sit there for hours and hours and just enjoy the scenery and the sound of wind. I'll definitely go back there for a little walk a d enjoying the peace!

It was my first experience in North Dakota! If you like…read moreprairies, this is a gem that you must put it on your list! We went to a tower that is build for visitors to enjoy the scenery from a higher level. Unfortunately the last 30% to get to the top was locked but we could still enjoy the beauty of the area. The trail is perfect for hiking and all you can hear is the wind and crickets. It's far from civilization and that what makes it even more attractive and peaceful! When we wanted to use the washrooms (maybe I should say restrooms! Haha) I noticed it was nice, well maintained and clean which shows the level of care this place gets. You can easily spend hours for hiking just make sure you have water and some protein bars just in case you have a long way back to your vehicle! I highly recommend this place and I'm sure I'll go back there next time I'm in the area! :)
