I got a little disheartened and called my realtor and I ended up getting in contact with Jamison. Jamison is very professional and best of all will answer all of your questions promptly. My project wasn't that straight forward and had many different facets to it but he managed to deliver on all fronts. My biggest worry was matching the color of the new addition to the old concrete. Jamison underpromised but over delivered. It matched the old part of the wall perfectly. The project was on schedule and the crew cleaned up the site and now I have a beautiful raised seawall heading into the winter storm season. In terms of pricing, while Jamison wasn't the lowest quote, he provided the best value. His crew was able to install flood planks and do pipe work that other installers were hesitant to do. And the true measure of a contractor and a professional is how they handle themselves when problems arise. The flood planks ended up being installed a few steps down from what was initially proposed but when I pointed this out, Jamison corrected the problem no questions asked. I highly recommend Jamison and his crew. 5 stars all around.

While that may be the case, why is it the customer's problem that your company does not have a back up plan in place when you are out of the office? You responded late morning/early afternoon, at which time, we had just had a passing shower. You then advised it was too late to do anything that day due to the shower-not realizing that we actually had the entire morning of clear weather and sun had your company actually come out like they said they would. You rescheduled the job for two days later. I was under the impression that you scheduling the job two days later meant that your company would actually come out to do the job. That was not the case. I actually did not post the original Yelp review for a week after the fact to give your company the benefit of the doubt. When I heard nothing at all from anyone, I assumed you did not want the job - I think it is fair to say you can see why I would think so. Your company clearly had all of my contact information because as I stated in my previous review, I received a call from the owner almost immediately after having posted my original review. I guess I would ask why it takes a review on Yelp to get an actual call from your company? I did actually state in my updated review that the owner offered to do the job at cost. I am actually trying to be fair in my review and updates, but it sounds to me as if you don't want to take accountability. To state that I did not contact you is not correct. To not contact your customer within the week following the missed appointments is not acceptable. To blame it on a software glitch or someone being out of the office should not be acceptable to you or your customers. I actually find your comments disheartening as well.

Robert was a referral from my next door neighbor. I saw how quickly they finished the roof a few…read moreyears ago at a competitive price so I decided to reach out for a quote. He came by, spent about 10 min walking around, rang the doorbell and gave me a sheet of paper with the quote. Easy and painless as that. I asked for roof quote and got exactly what I wanted. He did not need to come inside or make me listen to a 2 hr sales pitch. I've had at least 2 other companies who tried to do that when I was getting a roof for the quote. 1 of them gave me a quote on sidings instead. The other did not even give me a quote because I decided to kick them out after half an hr. After getting some other quotes I decided to go with Robert and he agreed to come out 2 weeks later. His crew came on time as promised but he wasn't physically there until the end of the day. Overall his crew was efficient. They finished within 1 day as promised. The shingles looked okay, not as flat or even like our neighbors but it appeared to be just fine. They finished the roof before a big snow storm and rain/wind storm within the same week. It was able to withstand everything just fine and no noticeable water leak or anything in the attic. I did discovered a small chipped wood area in the attic which I can see some of the underlayment and shingles but water was not getting through or anything. I will continue to monitor. They actually was supposed to install the chimney as well forgot so they returned a few days later to complete it as promised. Overall fantastic job from Robert and his crew. From the quoting process to the fast efficient work. Cosmetically the shingles could have looked a bit better and more even but functionally it seems to have served its purpose and was worth it for the price I paid.
