This is the best shaved ice place I have ever been to. I used to go each day after sxhoool and it brought us much joy. The service was quick and simple with very low prices for the amazing quality. My favorite was dreamsicle and it tasted like a sweet creamy orange pop. The one closest one to us shut down recently and my family has been devastated. I would recommend to anyone and would drive the 30min to the next one anytone. read more

I love the ice cream, they only have one flavor of ice cream(pinã colada) and it's worth every penny. the texture is impressive for home mad Icecream and they just pile it on. Service is good, me and my sis came 30 mins before opening and were served anyway. I wish they were open more days of the year read more

ok, I am a dallasite and therefore I remember the glory days of ice delight. I went in expecting little soft, fine ice pieces of heaven with amazing flavors. So, when it was only 104 on sunday and an afternoon spent watching a friends softball game, when decided to give tc's a go. The ice is not quite a snow cone and not yet little pieces of heaven, somewhere in between. I had 1/2 pina colada, 1/2 amaretto- the amaretto was really good, pine colada did not seem to have much flavor. One friend got the wedding cake and she loved it. The 33yr old boy got the tiger's blood and he was very happy with his choice (I think that was partially due to it's name including tiger). Will I be back? More than likely yes, and now that I know where the bar is at I think it will be better. BTW, I got a medium and it was huge. read more

This is a Garland summertime staple. The best shaved ice in town. A couple of things to note they only take cash. It's run by a Hispanic family, so be understanding of that. And for my money, TC has this delicacy down to an art form. The price is right, the menu extensive and the syrup flows freely - what more can I say? EXCEPT... if you're really hankering for the ultimate diabetic cool-down, go for the "Knockout" - an extra large cup of syrupy shaved ice, with a scoop of pina colada ice cream in the middle. Holy hell, I dream of this during the winter months, when TC has woefully shuttered its shack doors. I usually have mine made with a happy blend of wedding cake and tiger blood syrup... it cannot be beat. A tip: Most folks drive straight to the right window when preparing to make their order. First time trying this place and it was a horrid experience. First, I asked if they had blue coconut and the Hispanic gut got an attitude with me and said they have clear but it tastes the same, which it doesn't. Then tried to argue about the taste of it. I decided to be the better person and when ahead and ordered and got a medium root beer for my son and a banana for myself. Second, if I'm going to pay the price they charge, I expect a full cup and nothing less. I get the syrup melts the ice but only 3/4 full? No thanks. Third, the root beer tasted like it had mint and my son hated it and the banana tasted horrible...we ended up tossing them. I'd rather drive 45 minutes to Bedford and go to Bud's snowballs!
