We did a quick stop in Neurmburg when we were on our way to Munich so we only came for a quick…read moreafternoon snack. We ordered 2 bratwurst sandwiches with a side of sauerkraut. The bratwurst was delicious: savory and flavorful. It had a slight char on the outside, and juicy inside. The roll was just as good. The crust was crisp and and inside was soft and pillowy. I especially liked eating it with sauerkraut which balances out the balance out the grease and heaviness of the bratwurst. There's also service was slow as we learned throughout our trip. It's just the norm so don't expect any quick service. Overall, we enjoyed our food very much and would love to go back to try out other items on their menu if we ever end up in Nuremberg in the future.

For my meal, I ordered 8 sausages with potato salad. The sausages were amazing. If I wasn't a broke student, you best believe I would have ordered at least a dozen more. That's not to say they weren't filling; rather, they were just that good. The potato salad was good. Not much to say on that other than it is good. Finally, I got apple strudel. This left me a bit disappointed as it was average at best. Overall, definitely stop by after visiting the best museum in the world just up the road (ok a bit more than that but you know what I'm saying).

These sausages and belgian chips are a gateway to start exploring the city without hungry and full of energy. As a lover of curry sauce, i recommend it strongely, it is a fast service, a great variety of sauces and craft beers in a really nice environment. If you are a tourist, you should try, not everywhere you will find these ones. A cheap meal and makes the job!! Everytime i go there to Nürnberg, ill eat them!
Currywurst deluxe!…read more To be honest, I was a bit hesitant at first - I'm not the biggest fan of Currywurst and chips from snack bars....too greasy and the places are usually too dirty. But this place is as close to a restaurant as a Currywurst snack stand can be... The sausage - the Currywurst - is simply put perfect! You get to choose between different sausages, then decide which curry sauce you would like, only to then choose the sauces for the chips! I forgot which sausage I chose, but it was "knackig" (the Germans say here) and absolutely delicious! The sauce wasn't as spicey, but that's because I chose the less spicey one, so that is definitely my own fault - but my food partner chose the other one and let me know that it was rather bland as well. The chips were not too great - too hard and no vinegar around to soak them in, but I guess that's just me again...now the sauces, they are amazing! The guy who worked here was nice enough to give us a plate full of all the different sauces, so we could try all of them! That's what I call service! He made sure to ask us to come back in after trying them, in order to tell him which one we liked best!! I couldn't even decide which one I liked best, but the ajvar ketchup was definitely at the top of my list! Bottom line: - I won't have to travel to Berlin anymore to get a perfect Currywust! - You choose between different sausages and sauces - Sauces and Currywurst are delicious and rather exotic - Chips could be better, but that's not why I came here!

I didn't understand her initially but said no. I guess it would have been too much of a scene to ask us to leave, especially since everyone coming in after us had no reservations. Our order was taken promptly, the food again was high quality and delicious. When time for the check, the staff ignored us for an hour. I sent my children back to the hotel after 20 minutes as it had been a long couple of days of activity and travel. I waited an entire hour for the check after others who had come after me ate, paid and left. I could have left cash but wasn't sure if taxes were required and didn't want to pay too little. I drank 3 carafes of water while being ignored. As it got closer to closing and after I had to use the restroom, the manager/server finally made eye contact so I could request my check. If you are black or brown, DO NOT come here. Yoshoku is very close but was completely full when we went. That food looked just as delicious and I suspect won't come with a healthy serving of racism and disrespect.

Perhaps I thought so because I haven't had a real burger in a while (hashtag living in Germany) but my friend who lives in Nuremberg recommended Mam Mam because she found out about it through expats.
