Why the bank card go into the atm machine the other way? It is very slow and confusing

I was going to leave this TD branch one star but as you can see, I've decided on two. This location has many pluses but sadly, there being over shadowed by the long lines at peak times and the often down ATM machines. Let me go back to the pluses. This branch is perfectly located and very close to public transportation. It also has great hours and a friendly staff. Now for the unfortunate part, the negatives! This branch has got to do something about keeping the lines down during peak times. Management may need to schedule accordingly. Perhaps, more staff needs to be hired? Something needs to be done. As for the ATM machines. I don't know the answer but they seem to be down more times then their up. If these two things can be addressed, I would be happy to return and add more stars. read more

This place truly sucks. People were waiting in line for 2 hours in this heat wave, one lady was waiting with her BABY for TWO hours, the inside was completely empty with only employees, so it was definitely intentional. What sick group of people, the general manger and the bank teller should be fired. They have zero care for the community. I will never see this treatment in white privileged spaces like FiDi or Brooklyn Heights. read more

This TD Bank location is straight up ghetto. I really think the black workers at this location forget to code switch in professional environments. How are you referring to your coworker as 'my n*gga dead that sh*t?' Unbelievable. There are a couple of very sweet and helpful bankers at this location but altho this used to be Burger King, you don't need to approach it with a fast food employee attitude. I still like the convenience but too many of the people working here are a hot mess. read more

Salome Campbell helped a friend and I recently at a visit to this bank location. Immediately she knew exactly what needed to be done to resolve the issue. We have been trying to rectify this issue with bankers at another location, that didn't give the correct information. Which resulted in wasted time. I don't post much reviews , but Salome was so knowledgeable, friendly and she knew instantly how to solve the problem. She gave us amazing customer service and I just had to give her a compliment on a public forum. read more

It's very difficult to find a bank that's open late on a week day. This TD Bank is open until 7pm, so this location was clutch! The staff were professional. As I visited the location close to closing time, the line was long. However, it moved quickly. I'm a fan! read more

The ONLY reason I'm giving a positive review is because of Tawanna. She is an account manager there and has done more for me in a week than the branch has done in over 6 months! I was a victim of fraud and suffered a huge loss. I initially went to the branch filed a claim/report & was told I would receive my money back in 90 days. (3 months) about 6 months passed! I did not get a refund, no updates, nothing! I went into the branch some other fella helped me and he basically wasted my time. He had no idea what was going on. I left defeated & returned a 3rd time 7 months later. Tawanna helped me and fought for me! If you have to come to this branch go to TAWANNA!!! She is the ONLY person working their with a brain and a heart !! She was extremely professional & amazing help! God bless Tawanna ! The branch itself sucks! read more

Efficient system inside for waiting during covid, clean space and nice people who work there. Was busy but things moved quickly.

After waiting 30 minutes to see a representative to open a bank account, I decided to check the reviews on Yelp. With the meter running and the long wait time being the most frequent complaint, I was ready to run out of here. Just as we were about to bolt, we were called. To be completely honest, Renald was great! He was expeditious even as we switched mid-process from premier checking to convenience checking. Oops...sorry! I will say, however, that I was thankful not to have to wait in line to see a cashier and the ATMs were fully functional. We were done in the nick of time...bye bye meter. read more

I went into the bank this morning to open an account. There was 1 teller operating with a long line, but I couldn't identify anyone else as an employee. Eventually a man came out of an office, he was racially ambiguous and had an effeminate air about him. I asked how long the wait was and stated that I wished to open an account. He ignored me and walked away. I said excuse me an asked again. He turned to me rudely, visibly annoyed and rudely replied that he didn't know and that there were lots of people waiting. I swear foras long as this bank has been established they're customer service etiquette is garbage and down right disgusting! The lack of regard they have for their customers business is beyond me. The way they do business and transactions is Atrocious and shady! They've lost money of mine ad never even reimbursed me for it. Like blatantly just disregarded the fact that funds never showed up in my account yet I have proof of the paper trail as bright as day to show them. This bank is the worst bank ever. TD as a whole sucks but this location is full of employees who could care less. I waited for an hour to report my card stolen, I called they said I had to come in. This bank needs more employees. I will say the manager was super nice he name was Tawanna I believe. She was the best part about the bank. read more

I guess the biggest problem is that you can't trust the ATM's to record your deposits properly, but there are other reasons to hate TD -- they used to have a coin machine, they used to advertise a notary being on the premises at all time, they used to have a relationship with TD Ameritrade. I have always enjoyed courteous professional service at the Marcy Ave from the branch manager and each one of his staff members, no matter what I have needed service for. They do their best to help me and answer all of my questions. They are a very busy branch, in a very busy neighborhood, sometimes it is crowded, but my observations are when I go there, is that all of the staff are working very hard to service all the customers and I have never heard any of them speak unprofessionally. I personally would never stand for it, even if they were speaking to someone else. I have been a customer for years and only observe hard-working professional individuals on the grind getting the people's work done whenever I am there. Keep up the good work. Thank you. read more

Justin, the supervisor at TD Bank is amazing. He made me feel calm, comfortable, and heard. He greeted me once I walked in the door and then sat down with me and handled my multiple requests I had on behalf of my client. He was knowledgeable, empathetic, caring, and kind. He made our experience great and got us in and out as quickly as possible without ever making us feel rushed. He multi-tasked calling multiple departments on our behalf and genuinely cares if your situation gets handled, which it all did! Some believe if you drop a bank branch in a traditionally underserved community you've addressed banking accessibility. Accessible banking also means stellar customer service, spaces that are comfortable and welcoming and being respectful of customers time. I've been waiting to see a representative for at least 30 minutes and it appears 4-5 customers are ahead of me. That doesn't include the person who walked about about 10 minutes ago. There's another 8 individuals waiting in line to see a teller. With all that said, there's no real urgency to serve customers. This is my first and last visit to this bank. read more

Seriously, I Made A Yelp Account JUST So I Can WARN Other Customers About The WORST Branch & Customer Service There Has To Be. The Service Is ALWAYS Slow Unlss Your There When The Workers Clock In And Can Be Seen First. Today Specifically, I Spent 2 Hours This Morning Waiting On A Rep. There Were 2 Reps & They Sat Down With The Same People The Entire Two Hours, More Customers Left Than Those That Were Actually Seen. All I Wanted Was A New Debit Card. NoOne Acknowledged Those That Were Waiting Until An 1 1/2 (About 10:30am I Came At 9am) Passed In Which I Was Told I Can Get A Debit Card At The Teller. After Waiting Online For 20 Minutes, The Teller Told Me The Machine Was Down. I Asked Him To Just Mail It To My House, 15Min Later I Was Completely Fed Up & Told Him To Forget It. I Wouldn't Recommend Going To This Branch To AnyOne Unless You Have Some Real Time On Your Hands To Waste.
