When I look for a bank I always take my time and do research. TD Bank in Clinton MD has been by the Walgreens for years ; I never paid attention much b c it always looked as if it was closed but as I continued to shop in the area it became clear that they were open and busy. I moved away from the area for a couple of years but upon returning home I chose to go check them out. My account was opened in January of 2022 , TD Bank has provided me excellent customer service since Mr.A Virgil opened my account he knew what they had to offer and without selling anything left me thinking of future options. He transferred to Georgetown branch in DC but the care and professionalism remains good. The drive-thru tellers are wonderful and understand my lack of experience with their forms and use of their technology. They've been patient with me lol . I'm so glad to be at this bank where I'm treated as the senior citizen I am who wants to remain independent! look out TD Bank is suddenly closing accounts without explanation with a letter giving clients 30 days to get their funds. They won't explain any reason when you call the special number in the letter, WHY?? because they don't want to say your use of the account is not generating any profit for them, in other words you have a low balance checking, or savings, but it makes them NO MONEY HAVING YOU! and if you have a low balance savings account with little activity you'll get a screw you letter too!! WHEN YOU CALL AND ASK WHT SINCE YIUR SHOCKED.BECAUSE YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE ACCOUHT, THEY WILL SAY ITS THERE RIGHT TO CLOSE ACCOUNTS WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION! THIS BANK IS DISGRACEFUL and AN EMBARRASSMENT TO CANADA, yes it's a Canadian based bank, Toronto Dominian Bank, that treats Americans like CRAP! move to another bank!!! read more

This TD Bank is a gem, as I believe it is one of only 3 TD Banks in Prince George's County Maryland (where I live). "America's most convenient bank" Lol Yeah, right. Anyway, this branch is pretty understaffed, especially on weekends. The customer service here also leaves much to be desired. On a standard trip to this location, you may park your car and enter. "Hi. Welcome to TD Bank," one of the straight-faced tellers may say. "Hello," you'll respond. That will be the end of the conversation until you say something else. The tellers may say things like "the other lady will be with you in a second. She had to go to the bathroom" ...like, really? Another annoying thing is that the tellers will allow people to come to the front of the line and stand there and fill out deposit/withdrawal slips while everyone else waits. That should be done before you get in the line. They should be required to step to the back of the line...or at least to the side. I have visited this branch, however and had a decent experience with customer service once or twice, but it is only when I have to sit down with a representative to accomplish something like getting something notarized. Even then, the wait is so damn long, the quality of service doesn't even matter any more by the time you sit down. I give this bank two stars instead of five because they are dog-friendly (as are all TD Banks) & they give my dog treats. read more

TD Bank member for 4 years and have frequented several different branches but this has to be the worst! Poor customer service, long waits for service and No pens at the atm! ( Nobody deposits checks anymore?) Convenient location but I'd rather drive to better service! read more

Slowest, most understaffed location I've even visited. First customer in line and simple transaction took 25 minutes, as multiple customers lined up for the one teller working. The two platform staff sat at their desk and didn't assist. read more

Wonderful service! I do not have an account with TD, however the kind gentleman cashed some savings bonds for me. Kudos! Sun Trust and the BOA refuses to cash government bonds for you unless you bank with them. Time to rethink your policies!!! If you are looking for excellent service, look no further...TD Bank is the way to go. read more

The hours are great, but this branch is beyond slow. There are never enough tellers. At times I see other people who work at the bank, who aren't helping anyone but they never come to assist with the long lines. No one has ever been rude, but every time I need to come out have to wait in line at least 20 minutes no matter how few people are in line. Avoid this branch of you can... absolutely the worse bank ever 1st my account stayed hacked with pass word and contact information changing. could not get any remedy over the phone. inside the branch the service is horrible no matter how empty it is, it takes forever to get called. read more

No sense of urgency for customers. Making a withdrawal is at least 20mins and I have walked in & was the next one in the bank line and had to wait 10min for a teller to come while the staff sitting at the desk just watched without helping me. read more

I normally don't write reviews, however, this was the worst service I have ever experienced with TD! I normally go to Edgewater (near Annapolis) and prior to that 10 years at PA locations. No sense of urgency, no greeting, no smile!! People in any business position need to understand the operative word is serve, that customers have choices, and their jobs are dependent on those customers. read more
