This bank has now grown to become my go to bank for my business. HSBC (my main bank) has closed its LIC branch, and I hate Chase. The branch is bright and inviting to come into, the lines have never been long when I go after work, there are plenty of ATMs, and of course there are the free pens, lollipops, and dog biscuits. The tellers are always polite and friendly. I started an account with TD Bank to avoid the 9% fee for coin counting, using the account as a vacation fund. It has grown from that as it is the only place I can withdrawn funds near my job. There are plenty of branches all over the city. read more

I have a business and personal account at this branch on 46th Ave in Long Island City. The staff is super friendly and accomodating. I was worried I wouldnt be able to cash a check before the long holiday weekend. They are opwn till 7pm so i was able to get money! Great hours!! I had a problem with checks I ordered and they worked to fix it immediately. I like it that they aren't constantly trying to sell me other products. If I need a loan, or credit card, I'll ask. Capital one, Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo dont seem to understand this concept. I've banked with all of them. Thank you TD! I also like the planting trees initiative they launched in NYC. More social responsibility please. Next they should sponsor refugees from Syria or build a petting zoo for Donald Trump's hair. read more

Banks suck. TD Bank isn't like most banks. They have a well-deserved strong customer service reputation. It helps that they are open seven days a week. Have you tried banking on a Sunday? It's magical! I have to go to this particular location a lot for work and have gotten to know all of the staff very well. I am always warmly greeted when I come in, whether or not I know the person by the door. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in line (when there is even a line). On hot days, they often have out water bottles and treats for dogs. If you're like me and you want to bludgeon Citibank and Bank of America to death, TD is definitely worth a look, especially at this branch. read more

THE WORST BANK EVER Worst costumer service I have ever received, what one says is different from others. My biggest mistake was to open a credit card with them because the branch manager lied to me that they have the best balance transfer for 4%, meanwhile all other banks had it lower then that, like Chase 2%, Bank of America 3%, etcetera. The craziest thing is that they do not have 0% APR for the first year of opening the credit card like every other credit card in the world. I have very good credit and the best they could do was 18%APR meanwhile the max others offered me was 12%APR. I don't want to write more about them and lose my time, but STAY AWAY FROM TD BANK. There were so many bad experiences with this bank that now I love and appreciate every other credit card and their costumer service, rates, quality, fees and everything else they offer that TD Bank does not. read more

while in l.i.c. doing a bit of shopping i either lost , misplaced or had my td bank debit card stolen but lucky for me a td bank is still open at 7pm. was greeted by the manager and had a bank customer rep take care of the rest . after a bit of checking to confirm all the charges so far are legit and done by me the very nice bank gal canceled my card and gave me a new one in less then 5 minutes .before leaving i did grab a few pens and more then a few lollipops but no dog biscuits for me this time .a quick painless process and no one try to buy a boat or car with my old bank card . just like most folks my main reason to open an account with td banks is open 7 days a week and open later then all the other banks , now i wish they would bring back the self service coin for paper money exchange machine which was kinda fun . read more

After waiting over 30 minutes to receive my cash withdrawal from the teller due to this branch not having the correct withdrawal form for my TD Connect card, the manager finally decided to have another branch fax over a copy of the form only to have me wait for another 20+ minutes. No one apologized. No one genuinely cared about solving my problem. How frustrating. I don't want to hear excuses I want to hear resolutions. I'm switching to Chase bank later this week! read more

I have to say that I have had the worst experience in my life with this td bank branch ever. So I started my account with td bank and had $700 as a balance in my account and it was great that they give a debit card on the spot now I did some shopping spent some nights out and at the end of the month had $50 left now I had plans to take my girlfriend out for dinner and a boat ride when we get to the boat the transaction was declined I checked my app and it said now I have -$4.82 so I was upset wondering where did the $50 go ?? So I call them up and the representative after a hour of arguing finally reverses the over draft fees cause I had a balance and she said that there were pending transactions that don't post to the account but show up on the history that makes no sense so your telling me that if you have a balance your not going to follow the app ? That makes no sense so I got that fixed now I go to dinner and run my card and what happens it's declined I wonder what now I check my balance and it says -$89.00 I was more upset now so I go to my home branch and try to discuss this with a manager and to my surprise there is no manager around so I speak to some assistant named Ravi and he says there's nothing they can do and had the nerve to laugh in my face saying it's only $89 ? Really so I guess you make $100 a hour to pay that easily asshole so I called the branch the next day and asked for a supervisor and they said to leave my number and he will call me back I waited all day never called me back I called up for 5 days straight no one called me back after leaving my number so when I finally get this guy on the phone I said wow you never called me back this is a first time he said oh sorry it's cause I've been busy so I take it I'm not busy at all so after arguing with him he runs me some bullshit on how it was my fault that this happen but it was the banks so he said he will just waive $35 and that I have to pay like $40 something I got mad and said why not the whole thing he said it's all his system is letting him do wow that's messed up so I'm not paying this and now after all this time the fees went up to almost a thousand cause it was never resolved yea this guy reversed the fees after I hung up he put it right back onto my account and I am still over drawn he promised a $35 credit he didn't keep his word screw this bank I hate this bank beyond any bank worst bank in the world read more
