Where do I start?! I'll start by saying I'm 9 months pregnant. I dropped my handicap accessible van off a few months ago in hopes of getting it sold. I had only purchased it about 9months prior, but due to the recent passing of my mother, we no longer needed the van. Before bringing the van to Team Adaptive for resale, I paid $175 for it to be detailed. I also purchased two new key fobs because the two I got at the time of purchase were very worn and one ended up breaking maybe two months after purchase and the other almost 7-8months after purchase. So instead getting one key fob made for $100, I opted to get two for $150. I had been calling and leaving messages for months on Stephanie's voicemail but never got any return calls and was never able to speak to her directly, for whatever reason. The last straw was when I called last week two days in a row and Stephanie refused to get on the phone, thus having the receptionist tell me the status of my van's inquiries. Per the receptionist, I was told that the van was no longer in Biloxi and was now in Mobile because they had a customer with a possible interest in the van, however that customer went with another van. I was never informed that my van would be leaving this store. Then, I was told if you want to pick your van up you can come by next week to get it, which to me was not a problem because that was going to be my next course of action. I get there today, and the receptionist comes running out with a single key fob. I, in turn ask, where is my other key fob and my paperwork that I dropped off. She said give me a second. She comes back and says there is no other key fob but we will call the Mobile store to see if they have it. I look through the paperwork while I'm in the store, only to find two registrations cards and no title, so I ask did you all register my van to someone else and where is the title? She goes to the back and Stephanie comes out. My sister says to take a picture of the paperwork. So I ask Stephanie the same questions I asked the receptionist, and she says this was the person you bought the van from, we found this paperwork in the van. Ok cool, well I'll just hold on to this paperwork since it was found inside of MY van. Stephanie proceeded to play tug of war with me over this registration card, and states that it's a "HIPAA" violation. Unbeknownst to Stephanie, I am a medical professional and as I stated to her HIPAA deals with your health information. Did I forget to mention that I'm 9 months pregnant?! When she realizes I'm not letting the paper go, Stephanie then says, "Keep the DAMN paper, look at the expiration date!" I was keeping it anyway, but that was extremely unprofessional and not one time did I use profane language towards this lady, despite her hostility, I kept my cool. She then goes on rambling about calling the Mobile store to see about the other key fob and states if the person comes back with a down payment they will put us in touch with each other, blah blah blah. At this point, I'm pissed but as I stated before I'm 9months pregnant so I'm just trying to get on the interstate to get home. We stopped at the gas station before heading out, and my sister says, I know this van was clean when we dropped it off, so why is there dirty napkins, lip balm, and coins in the door. There were also a few coins under the radio. It appeared as if someone had been using the van for their personal gain. I called the Mobile store and was told that they did not have the other key fob, so now I'm out of key fob which would help with the value of my van. I would not recommend this store to ANYONE!!
