My daughter attended TAG for just over a year before we had to move overseas. I can't recommend this gym highly enough. The highly qualified staff, including the owners, care hugely about their gymnasts. The coaches are all fantastic role models in addition to being amazing gymnasts. The competitive teams do extremely well within the highly competitive gymnastics circuit of North Carolina. The gym emphasizes the balance between schoolwork and sport with rewards for middle school pupils who do well at school. The gym also operates a highly successful 'big sister' mentor scheme whereby younger gymnasts are paired with older ones. The owners run a very tight ship with an expectation for high standards throughout. The staff and parents are encouraged to behave in a professional and respectful manner and the gym has a fantastic ethos as a result. The gym equipment is constantly being replaced and renewed as the owners reinvest in the business. As a parent, I saw my daughter learn new skills and thrive in an encouraging environment surrounded by like-minded girls who were also benefitting from the supportive and positive ethos of the gym, whilst becoming great gymnasts and doing well competitively. TAG strives to be the best gym not only in Wake County but the State and the SouthEast. Their coaches are constantly getting extra training on the latest techniques and requirements. They do not have girls competing at levels they are not ready for, so that when they do compete, their scores are always good and they make a great showing. They also teach skills incrementally so that gymnasts are ready to try a new skill because they have all the steps that lead to that skill. Very professional. Communication is great. I also appraciate that there are no hidden costs. The staff figures out all the team costs well before the season and lays out the families competition fees well before the actual competitive season, allowing you to budget over many months to get your payments finished in time. No other gym we attended EVER did that! read more

My daughter competed with TAG for years before she went to college, and goes back during breaks to work. She still loves it. It is truly the best gym in the area. The owners and coaches are wonderful, and have a clear mission. They teach gymnastics, but they teach life skills at the same time: discipline, respect, commitment, and the importance of friendship/encouraging others to name a few. They provide a positive atmosphere, positive reinforcement, and make sure that each child has actually mastered skills before moving them to the next level. Because of that your child will have confidence in his or her abilities at each level and have a true sense of accomplishment, in addition to having a whole lot of fun along the way. read more

We love TAG!!! The people are friendly and patient. I have never had a rude encounter once; this I cannot say about other gyms/studios where my children have taken lessons. We love the atmosphere and coaches!!! Both my daughters have done summer camp and had nothing but great things to say about TAG. My youngest daughter has taken recreational gymnastics there for years and she has just joined the STARS team. We had a great meeting about that with Brian recently. We had my daughter's birthday party at TAG this month. She and all of her friends had a great time! I loved that I didn't have to do anything but bring party favors. They took care of the rest. AND- they were very up front about all of their pricing options. The price I was quoted for the package I wanted is what I paid. No pricey add-ons for cake and pizza because it was all included in the price. Also, we were the only people in the gym at the time of the party. We didn't have to compete with other groups for equipment. I would recommend TAG as a great place to host a birthday party. read more

The staff is very friendly and encourages the kids to do their best and enjoy the sport. My daughter has been going to TAG for the last year and half, and she has moved from the recreational classes to pre-team. My daughter has been a part of the competitive team for 6 years. The coaches are caring, patient and knowledgable. It really is a family friendly atmosphere. My daughter and two sons have been going here for the past 2 and 1/2 years. My daughter is on a competitive team and my son's have both done recreational gymnastics for fun.
