Our home is situated on that which was once farmland and now lay fallow. The land is uneven and, in…read moreareas, steep. We've had A+ mow those portions for the past several years. The job was always completed thoroughly and we were pleased. This year we decided to add to the scope of the job. Our property consists of the former farmhouse, a very large barn and a cottage on the river in addition to our more recently built home. Our barnyard was overgrown and contained much that needed to be removed. That junk was removed neatly and cleanly as was some materials at the old farmhouse and the river cottage both of which are rentals. The barnyard was not simply cleared of trash and weeds it was also made leveled and stone was placed there for a very neat, clean look. The river cottage suffered some wind damage and a very large tree was downed which, when sawed into sections was difficult to move. Those sections were removed and the land was cleared - no easy task as the land drops off to the river. The parking pad was also cleared and reworked to a neat, clean area covered with gravel. Following that some of the landscaping areas around the main house were cleared of overgrown bushes, the stumps were ground, the area leveled, covered with weed barrier and finished neatly with mulch. I'll add that they were also kind enough to remove decorative stone from one of the areas to another area with like stone in order to replenish that area. The area from which the stone was removed was covered with weed barrier and mulch to blend with an adjacent area to provide a more contiguous look. To say we are pleased with the results would be inaccurate; we are delighted. (My apologies, I note a few grammatical issues: the land "lies" fallow, the barnyard was made "level" , etc. ) I'll finish with this: a job well-done for a fair price.

It makes getting in and out of the driveway so much safer and easier for large vehicles. Burke did exactly what we asked. The crew was super nice and friendly. Arriving early and getting to work. We asked for slight adjustments once the layout was done and it wasn't a problem. They cleared the footprint with us before the first coating. The first coat was down and a week later the second coat was put on. The only downside is that they do not offer finishing to their services. He has a guy they can float us to go the topsoil work and grading on the sides now that the driveway is finished but we have to wait until spring now. We got what we paid for and are happy with the result.
