What was supposed to be a simple 7-day job, done by April 11, turned into a total nightmare. From Day 1, this company was a joke. Instead of doing the job they were paid for, they tried to upsell $6000 for roofs we didn't need -- even after we made it very clear we only wanted basic fixes for the city inspection. Before they even started, all plumbing passed inspection -- but somehow, on their first day, the outdoor spigot got "accidentally" broken. They tried blaming it on us when they broke it trying to use the hose. We argued, let it slide, and kept it moving just to get the job done. After every little half-done job, the owner was begging for money -- $100 here, $100 there -- always some excuse: "I can't pay my workers," "I need a babysitter," "I have to leave early." It was endless whining. He even screwed up the contract math and argued about that too, instead of owning his mistakes. Then came the front door fiasco. He called right off jump to complain about having to drill holes on the universal door. Five trips later, and many texts of bull shit excuses he couldn't hang a simple door properly. Screws falling out, door flopping around, and still no wind chain installed like promised. He blamed the frame. We told him flat out (and it's in text): if you find something wrong, tell us. A real contractor would fix it the right way. Instead, he just made more excuses. I finally had enough. I cussed him and his trash crew out. Then he sent me a text --saying my husband wanted him to "n-rig" the job (using the hard R). Yeah. Full-on racist. And dumb enough to put it in writing. If we wanted a half-assed job we wouldn't have complained and made him fix the crap job 5 times from the start . I'm beyond furious. When they seal coated the driveway as a way to try and fix it, they splattered tar all over the side of the house and garage door. He said he would fix it but, as expected, he never did. 3. The company will respond to your reviews with "please call us to fix it", but they never will. 4. The son will text you after you post a negative review and he will actually make it sound like he's doing you a favor. Last text I got from him said "I'll fix it just to get you out of my hair". Still didn't fix it. 5. They lie about the work they do. They were supposed to remove the old base layer, and lay down a new layer of gravel. I literally watched them and he never did it. He even told me that the gravel below was in great shape and it wasn't needed. Clearly when you look at the pictures you will see that this looks like a 20 year old driveway, but it's less than 3 years old. At this point, I can't trust you to do the work and honor your warranty. If you are serious about your customers, you can pay another company to fix it and do it right.

However they also do offer snow plow services and that is the only interaction I had with this company that being said it was a phenomenal one. There are multiple bullet points that I would like to make positive reference of with this experience all of which I believe unfortunately are in short supply in this day in age. 1 it appears to be an the owner operated company and the owner is Hands-On which is respectable 2 they answered the phone on the weekend and it was not a voicemail or call center it was a human being 3 they were honest in saying they they could fit me in as soon as possible and showed up to the job promptly and on time which is a frequent issue with snow plow companies. 4 they were extremely fair priced for a large area of snow. It was done quickly and when they were done plowing the individual even asked does this meet your satisfaction. That alone is a high point in my book. 5 his snowplow was in good condition with the driveway having been recently redone the owner was worried about damage but his equipment was in good condition and had the screw in guides on the bottom of the blade which most plows do not which insured zero damage to the property. After the job was done I also learned from him that he is actually the owner and works on the weekends. This owner showed great pride in his workmanship and Company. Most owners don't work on the weekends this day in age. I will definitely utilize him on more job sites and refer him whenever possible. I am curious to see if the same professionalism and workmanship carries over to the sealcoating side of the business. I would say at least give them a shot you can't go wrong with the fair and economical pricing.
