Great for kids parties - you get a member of staff organising your party and it's not just a game of bowling, they organise fun things too within the game. Highly recommend. Worth booking at busy times though.

I booked here for my 8 year olds birthday and was surprised at the efficiency of the staff - sometimes in places like this the staff can be disinterested and vague but thats not the case here. A few days after I booked I found the date coincided with something else so had to reschedule - this proved to be very simple, but then I was taken into hospital and had to reschedule again. I really expected this to be too much but again they couldn't have been kinder. The party itself was great fun, and all the stress is taken away from the parents by a designated party leader. The food was basically the usual kids junk food but there was a cold buffet option when we originally booked. I'd highly recommend booking a childrens party here as its clean, well organised and not prohibitively expensive.

The staff are all really nice and seem to be having fun themselves. There is a nice selection of tea/coffee/food, although quite expensive. Never very many staff about but you don't really need them you can control everything from the computerised board at your station. Ideal for kids of all ages they have rails for the lane that you can choose to have up for younger bowlers and they have a ramp thing to help the really young send the ball down. Amazing how good getting a strike feels even if playing against 8 year olds (especially as they usually win) its hard not to have fun. They have a bar and food probably best avoided. Clean and tidy it all works rather well. Always offers on so check their website. You will often find us here on teacher training days when the place is empty.

It's the standard bowling alley situation, there are a few pool tables, air hockey tables and various arcade games dotted about as you walk in. There is a bland but inoffensive bar area and 25 or so lanes for bowling. You can get food or drinks brought to your lane which is good but the general appearance of the bowling area is seriously lacklustre. There are a few strings of sorry looking fairly lights running horizontally above the lanes, half of them don't work and they look like some sort of afterthought. The far right wall looks like someone has taken a sledgehammer to it at some point and the overall feel is of a place which could do with a bit of freshening up. Don't get me wrong, it's not like an afternoon in Helmand Province or anything. You can turn up, knock down pins and go away happy. It's just not the classiest bowling alley I've ever seen. 2 adults, 2 games cost me £21

It's a large 30 or so lane bowling facility and incredibly popular at peak times. The lanes are well maintained and cleaned with few service issues. There is a limited choice of balls and, at popular times it can be hard to find the balls you want. Ramps are provided for junior bowlers and there's the option of having gutter bumpers up for individual bowlers as required. These come on automatically. The bowling system is computerised and there are limited graphics. I find it disappointing that multiple strikes don't set off a big noise or TV display as with some lanes! Shoes are in OK condition although they're not great. There's a gaming zone (fruit machines, video games, pool and air hockey), cafe and bar facility too. The drinks at the bar are reasonably priced and the food is actually pretty good value with snacks and more substantial meals available (all bar-type food). There's a small dancefloor for weekend evenings and the TVs regularly show main sporting action or pop videos. The toilets are OK but the gents tend to smell! Worth a trip if you're in the area!
