It's a large 30 or so lane bowling facility and incredibly popular at peak times. The lanes are well maintained and cleaned with few service issues. There is a limited choice of balls and, at popular times it can be hard to find the balls you want. Ramps are provided for junior bowlers and there's the option of having gutter bumpers up for individual bowlers as required. These come on automatically. The bowling system is computerised and there are limited graphics. I find it disappointing that multiple strikes don't set off a big noise or TV display as with some lanes! Shoes are in OK condition although they're not great. There's a gaming zone (fruit machines, video games, pool and air hockey), cafe and bar facility too. The drinks at the bar are reasonably priced and the food is actually pretty good value with snacks and more substantial meals available (all bar-type food). There's a small dancefloor for weekend evenings and the TVs regularly show main sporting action or pop videos. The toilets are OK but the gents tend to smell! Worth a trip if you're in the area!

You can get a boat from Windsor town to the track which starts the day off. There is a large cafe which is good, places to drink and snack. Racecards and newspapers on sale. The best bit for me is taking a picnic in the Summer and sitting outside. In some places there is not a very good view of the track but there is tv screens. They put on singers and entertainers sometimes and have childrens days.

There are several height options for most fences: 1ft9, 2ft3, 2ft and 3ft3, so they are suitable for all levels of riders. There are two water complexes as well as all types of cross country jumps. Clear Round as well as Hunter Trials are held here regularly or you can hire the course for schooling.

Totes inside and outside( when the weather is ok) and of course bookies outside. Lots of parking or why not catch the train which is only a short walk away then you can visit the bars which are usually well run and quite quick. There are lots of places to eat and have tea and coffee. The course is good and you can get a good view of the track and the winning post. There are lots of television screens around to watch all the action and Sandown and other meetings.

A good course which provides a challenge for all standards of player. There is also a practice chipping area, practice putting green and a covered driving range. What are you going to do in London when the urge for some excitement kicks in, when you feel an urge to get out and test your manhood? Or, your womanhood? Or, you just feel like doing something crazy to feel alive? The Harley Davidson Surrey Chapter sponsors the Iron Butt Harley Davidson Challenge, which is to ride 1,000 miles on a Harley within a 24 hour period. The Iron Butt challenge is a test of human endurance and of a great machine. The Iron Butt starts in Guildford, loops up to Southeast Scotland, and back to Guildford - a 1,000 mile ride through the rolling green pastureland of England and Scotland. The ride starts off innocently enough: 20 devoted Harley riders in a classical British riding formation gliding through the English countryside. It doesn't matter that the countryside is enshrouded in a heavy, misty fog; it feels like total freedom feeling the cold air blowing by flying though the English countryside. The sun eventually sets. The air feels measurably colder. The freezing cold seeps directly through thick, English riding gloves, and fingers turn icy cold and eventually lose all feeling. Rain starts to fall. Light at first. Then, heavier. The group stops in Lancashire for a rest at a Travel Lodge. Time constraints only allow for a 2 hour rest break. Lying in bed in wet riding garb, sleep doesn't come. It soon becomes clear that a hot shower is in order - it's the only way to shed the cold. Two hours pass quickly and back out into the darkness. The rain now a steady, insistent downpour. After a while, unbearable fatigue sets in. The rain falling obliquely, starts to fall in heavy, thick droplets. It changes color. It's purple now. Panic starts to set in. This doesn't seem real. Is this really England? Or, a bad dream where losing focus or attention may lead to disaster? It's so hard to stay awake. The world is encased in darkness. The only visual elements are the lights of the bikes ahead. The only sounds are the pelting rain and the deep V twin rumble of 20 Harleys flying through the English countryside. Sleep deprivation and motorcycle riding are not a great combination. Guildford comes around. The end finally comes. The unmeasurably heavy fatigue of limbs and body parts drain out and pain and soreness call out for relief. It's finally over and .... The Iron Butt patch will come in the mail.

There were a lot of things I liked and a few things I didn't like about Airhop. First, it's a great…read moreidea and who doesn't love trampolines? There are four areas: a general trampoline area, with 2x2 meter tramps on which one person can bounce at a a time. There's a dodgeball area which can accommodate 6 per team with more tramps up the wall for side bouncing. There's a ball pit with tramps leading up to it, and a set of two basketball hoops. My sports club visited on a Saturday night and found it filled with children. This was not unexpected, but because it was really crowded we had to play dodgeball against a gang of 10-year-olds, who were really upset when we won. I wonder if an adults-only hour would be a solution. Also, it was entirely over-safe. Only one person per tramp, no double bouncing, only one person in the ballpit at a time. I'd be willing to sign more waivers if it'd allow me bounce freedom. Plus it's quite far from London for just an hour of bouncing.

However £6.50 for 9 par 3…read moreholes is a bit excessive and not really worth it for the overall condition of the course, especially when there are so many fine full size courses in the local area where you can play 18 holes for £15-£20. Went to the bar afterwards and ordered 2 CANS which cost £5.15. Understandable for pints but not for cans! When will these little places stop trying to rip off their customers!!
