I have been going to Timmy for the past 5 years and he is the absolute best! Both the Kelly's are so nice and so friendly!

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel like it's important to share my experience. This was actually the second time I've had an issue with a haircut here. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after this most recent visit, I asked for a refund because the cut was not what I requested. When the salon called me back, instead of simply processing the refund, I was encouraged to come back in so someone else could "fix" it. For me, that was not an option being that I'm pregnant, very busy, and also preparing for a wedding this weekend. It's simply inconvenient, especially given that this has happened before. What bothered me the most, however, was the response I got after mentioning my pregnancy as the reason I couldn't come back. I was told, "Congratulations on your pregnancy, not everyone can be that." I found this comment unprofessional and inappropriate, especially made from the owner, Kelli. It made me feel dismissed rather than respected as a paying customer who just wanted a fair resolution. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect quality service and respectful communication. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that. read more

New clients: $10 off first visit. This salon was voted best in Lehigh Valley 2022! Nicole was so much fun to talk with. My keratin treatment came out perfect (if I do say so myself). For the first time, I had my brows tinted and a $35 color glaze blended my roots and highlights so I can skip coloring my hair in August. They even have an adorable pup who makes the atmosphere feel so chill. The pup comes to work with one of the stylists. I highly recommend Tease Salon and all of the talented stylists (especially Nicole). read more

I decided to go to Tease salon for a consultation. I was ready to make a change to my hair after coloring it the same way for over 5 years. I called and explained what I wanted/needed and they kindly squeezed me in Sierra's schedule for the first appointment basically the next day! Sierra quickly understood what I was after and offered me options, allowing me to understand the level of care of each technique available for my final hair goals. This was my first trip to this fun salon and I must say-I will be back! My hair was a mess after 3 different salons over the last 6months. Terrible roots, really bad cut, but then I met Angela! We had a great consult and then her work was so spot on. She did such a great job fixing all that was wrong with both color and the cut, making it better than I had expected. The salon is clean and every one was so kind (staff and clients). I really like this salon and would highly recommend it!! read more

Very displeased with my first appointment at this salon. I will not be returning. Sierra helped me with my hair. When I booked my appointment the receptionist told me she would book me for a full highlight and told me the cost, but said it would be less if I did not do the full highlight. I only highlight the top section of my hair and leave the bottom dark, but she said since I was a first time customer it would give us more time if needed with the full highlight on the schedule. Sierra is a nice person, but she does not listen to what you want, does what she wants without telling you upfront, and then explains what she did at the end. She did not highlight my hair all the way to the root (which was the whole reason I went in there as I have dark roots and grey hair showing). She advised me after styling my hair that she left the roots undone to create a more natural grow out. She said if I was not happy with my hair, I could contact her and she would fix it, then gave me her business card. She then told the receptionist to charge me the full amount I was scheduled for -- full highlight, when that was not even the service I received. I wish I could get my money back. I was so upset she overcharged me. Especially since she did not do what I asked. Secondly, Sierra's follow up is non-existent. I called and left her a voicemail about my hair and how I wanted it fixed. She did not call me back, but texted me, 3 WEEKS LATER, saying that she is the worst at checking her voicemails and asking what was wrong with my hair. I sent her multiple replies back shortly after that and never heard back from her. It has now been almost a month since my text back to her. I am extremely disappointed in her lack of professionalism. If you run your business, and hand your card out with your telephone number, you should respond to client concerns in a prompt manner. Her lack of response is unacceptable and she should be embarrassed. I really hoped this could be my new salon. It's cute, close to where I live and had great reviews. But my experience was anything but great. read more

Called about 2 hours ahead to see if I could squeeze in a women's haircut for me and my sister. They put both of us in on the same day and was very accommodating. Everyone was wearing masks and not a lot of people were in the salon which was good since, Covid. The wait time was minimal and they have a pretty good stock of beverages while waiting. Aside from the customer service, now to the real deal. I could not be happier with the artistry/ execution of the stylist (Sierra). She gave me her input on multiple potential styles I brought to her. W her experienced eyes, she assessed my hair texture/ the way that it sat, and recommended certain cuts that would be best. She shampooed, cut, and styled. At the end of it, I went from waist length covid hair to a super refreshing jaw-line, bouncy bob. She recommended good products to take home to continue styling. Most importantly, since I am very low-maintenance w my hair, she taught me styling techniques to do at home to keep my hair looking fresh for a while. For those that have different hair types: I was a bit worried since I have thin asian hair, but she did an absolutely great job and seemed to be very aware of different techniques required for other hairtypes. Timmy and Kelli are hands down the best stylists in the Valley. Their attention to detail and knowing what the client needs makes the overall experience incomparable. The salon is very well managed and sparkling clean. I feel like I'm on vacation when I enter and am transported to a magical place. I always leave feeling beautiful and ready to conquer the day! I hadn't gotten my hair colored since 2019 due to covid so I had older balayage growing out and looking brassy. I was long overdue for a change. I moved from Philly and was looking for a new salon. Stumbled upon tease; scheduling appointment was easy over the phone. Nicole did my color and she was AMAZING! I have dark brown thick hair down to my mid back- she took her time, both during the coloring process and the styling. I cannot recommend this place enough. Just go here!! read more

They pressured me for a credit card BEFORE I set foot into the place. It was "to hold the appointment" NO Way will I ever give my credit card, over the phone to STRANGERS. This GRIFT of needing a credit card or downpayment to "hold an appointment" Is NOT a Federal law.It's NOT any kind of "Law" NO ONE has any right to demand a payment to "hold an appointment" .The overwhelming majority of haircutters DON'T ask for any sort of Pre payment. Hang up the phone the moment any merchant wants a credit card BEFORE they render services. The woman kept contacting me saying :"it's company policy, we don't actually charge your card" This is NOT some large corporation. There's no huge bureaucracy that has made this a law carved in stone. It's a stand alone business that charges OVER the going rate for hair cuts $35.00 for a basic mans hair cut, no shampoo. Use to love it here. I went to Natalie and my color looked great. After Natalie left, things have not been the same. Another stylist did my color. My roots were very red. Had to go back and get it corrected. Okay. No big deal. Then I made another appointment to get my hair colored. The appointment time changed 3 times. Then after I got my hair done, I was overcharged by $30. That was corrected by a credit onto my debit card. Now I had an appt. for this Saturday, called and left a vm on Sunday to cancel the appt. Received a text to confirm my appt.today. (Thursday) Called the salon. They said oh, okay. It's good because the stylist you were booked with no longer works here. What? What if I wasn't calling to cancel and needed my hair done? It's just too disorganized for me. read more

I have never had an issue with any other stylist at this salon until i got my hair done by nicole. I came in asking for full blonde highlights and showed her multiple pictures of what has been done on me before. nicole said i could achieve the same affect with a baliage. not only was this not true, but she left me with three different colors in my hair, the least prominent being blonde. she was not receptive of my questions about what she was doing to my hair and made me feel crazy for being upset with the results. would not recommend her. read more

Kelli and her staff are the most incredible hair stylists. I can personally say that Kelli goes out of her way to accommodate her clients schedules and does a fabulous job with color, cut and style. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a 10 out of 10 hair salon. read more

I was not very impressed with my haircut however. I did not think that my stylist paid even attention to the details and what I really wanted. Felt rushed as there was another person waiting. I went to this salon a little bit ago. The people were very kind and friendly and the salon was clean. But the hair I was left with is not okay. I had two sessions and spent over $500 (closer to 600) total and I have literally horizontal lines in my hair. I left a review on google to which I was replied to stating that they don't see my name in their records (I don't have my full name on reviews) and that I mistaken them for another salon. I definitely did not mistaken this for a different salon and I know very well where me and my money went. I attached photos of my hair that I was left with for reference. The person who did my hair seemed like I was a bother to her day (I literally just sat there) and kept rushing to finish my hair in which she made a point in she just wanted to go home. When I brought up the concern in my hair she rolled her eyes at me and assured me that there wasn't anything wrong. I honestly don't know of anyone who would send someone home with lines in their hair from the horrible highlights they did. Normally at any place I have been to if they saw something they would fix it, not just scoot me out the door. And it honestly can't say it wasn't seen because this is on ALL sections of my hair, not just one. My whole head is like this. This is seriously so upsetting. I had to shave my head a few years ago from illness and health reasons and I finally grew my hair out to be able to treat myself to feel pretty again and I was left like this. I will now have to spend more to get this fixed (if it can even be fixed) and I have been so embarrassed to go out with my hair looking like a zebra. I have been in tears from this as anyone can probably understand since it took years for my hair to come back. And yes this was the tease salon, not a different salon. read more

I would highly recommend Tease Hair Salon. Kelli and Timmy have worked together as stylists for years and it shows in this break-off business endeavor. This small, local salon is on the rear facing side of the building, off of Hamilton and Shepherd Ln, giving its clients an intimate feel -no flashy, stop and chop advertising, just quality hair work. I've been going to Timmy for over ten years now, and know that he feels best practicing at Tease. Kelli has clearly put A LOT of time, care, and consideration into the look and feel of the studio. The place is warm, inviting, clean, and has trendy, endearing artwork (love the hairpin logo). I saw young, adult, male, female and hair of all varieties being styled and cut while I was at my Saturday appointment. Will go here for years to come and wish nothing but success. Admittedly, I haven't met any of the the other stylists, but figure if they were hired by Kelli they must be fantastic. Will keep referring people here! read more
