It is named for Paolo Grassi, one of the theater's founders. I wasn't able to attend a performance in the theatre, but did attend a performance for children, in the building courtyard. The actors and staging were wonderful, and the children laughed uproariously. Five Stars. I am flying back home today so I have negative covid test results from today that I provided, regardless we were still denied. It was a very negative experienced getting kicked out over something so silly and illogical. I would imagine this is how the jews felt during Nazi Germany. No papers no access. I felt sad today for my Italian brothers and sisters oppressed by their government. Luckily after a lot of back and forth we managed to get a refund.
