Do not buy pizza here! Last week I bought a plain cheese pizza for $11.99. This week I was charged…read more$17.50 for the same pizza. I also noticed that they increase the price of a meat lovers pizza to $28. The meat lovers pizza has very few toppings on it. The new owners have no problem gouging the customer. The cashiers and counter clerks are not very courteous or friendly to the customers. Don't waste your time or money going to this place today. I bought my last pizza there.

That all changed about a month ago when my cousins and I sprung not only for the chicken, but some delectable Gas Station Pizza. This place is legit good! The chicken was cheap, hot, and very fresh. Seriously! They use tenders so you're not getting some sort of fast food sketch-mix. The breading was crispy and the sauces were fine. The pizza was also excellent! Not greasy, and the crust was garlicky. The sauce was a bit on the sweeter side but I like it that way. You can buy it by the slice or get a whole pie, and we've done both. They had a deal where you could get 2 large for $15 plus a 2-litre of soda. My whole family was up for my cousin's birthday and his restaurant of choice was closed on that particular day, so we went with some GSP instead. Their buffalo chicken was the favorite of the night. The marriage of GSP with Chester Fried and tasty buffalo sauce was almost too much for us. I don't think that caliber of pizza can be achieved anywhere else. Pour some ranch on that baby and you have a feast. Seriously, that pizza is good. Oh yeah, so's the gas. It's one of the cheaper stations around- you're better off filling up there before heading any further north and it's usually one of the less expensive ones that isn't on 104.

It's still the 603 Marketplace, but in October you may have seen the "under new management" sign and "Haffners" on the sign and pumps. A neighbor told me that Haffner's is a mid-sized business based in northern MA that does oil, propane, gas station/convenience stores between MA and NH, so at least this company has the experience to run a place like this. You may have noticed the gas is now more competitive for the area, not 5-15 cents less per gallon. I went in and it has the same craft and branded beers, some beneficial changes to the deli in terms of quality of meats, and they still have pizza. It may still be too early to figure what changes they will make, so let's watch this carefully. We know the last owner really ran this place as a political action office, not a business, but a hobby. Gone now are the political signs, the disparaging cartoons of politicians at the pumps, the front-door sign saying "we love freedom so take your mask off". As you can see in the below reviews, they unapologetically urged many of us to go elsewhere. The thing is, how many other places are there in town with gas, food and groceries? - actually 4 others, and we went! So now the old owner can publish his business plan: (1) Buy a run-down business in a prime location in a town of about 5000, and pay to bring it up to modern standards, improve grocery options, offer food and pizza. (2) Alienate 40% of the townspeople with your "in your face" politics, and (3) go out of business in 2 years. Oh yeah and (4) Think about "What could have gone differently here". We have a right to our politics and it's a sacred right, but incorporating it into a business is never wise...
