No issues driving it home 200+ miles. I'm quite enjoying the vehicle. Also had the vehicle inspected once home and there are no issues with it. I saved for several months to buy my first car. Went to teds found affordable car(2k) that was presented as safe! Shortly after sale my front end fell out. Had it towed back to Teds to get fixed. Ted's Auto Sales was by far the best car buying experience in my lifetime. Needing a reliable car quick for a family member, Ted's exceeded all my expectations notably due to the countless failed endeavors seeking cars over the years. A couple weeks' ago I came across the listing for the car online at one of the plethora of sites selling automobiles. The one big thing I would like to share is that at Ted's, pricing is transparent, no gimmicks, markups or deceptive marketing in the least to entice sales. This alone is hard to find when purchasing online today. Second--Ted's team, specifically Ron Sr. whom we made the deal with made it easy and Craig who greeted us promptly on our arrival made it quite a seamless process. We actually drove there from a neighboring state and were going to layup for the evening and head to Ted's the next morning to buy the car. With one phone call on our way there from a few hundred miles away, Craig suggested to pickup the car on our arrival to town instead. When we arrived we were in and out in literally 20-30 minutes and the car was detailed to the hilt. A 9 year old car with just over 5k original miles--we got a world class deal! To boot, their price smashed all prices nationwide--trust me on this because I was searching for months. I saw a classic car online offered for sale by Ted's, I found it via a Carsforsale.com link to their company. Body looked great. Price was right. So I sent them an inquiry, asking if it was ok to drive across country back to California. They responded (and I quote), "It is rusty undeneath...I wouldn't drive it to California Ave...2 miles down the street !!!" Such honesty at a car dealership is without parallel. I'd definitely patronize this establishment if the opportunity ever arose. read more

I called and checked that they had a vehicle in stock and was told they did. Drove 45 minutes to Ted's to find they did not have the vehicle...... this type of sales tactic is low life. Even if I found another vehicle I liked I wouldn't give these guys my business. read more

My experience at Ted's has been absolutely terrible, I purchased a car about a year and half ago and have put approximately 5000 dollars into it, more than half of what i paid for it. A month after I purchased it a whole host of problems arose. I started to smell a burnt oil coming through the air vents and found oil leaks under the car. I took it back to them and they "supposedly" fixed it for the price of the part. That was an absolute lie, because two weeks later the problem came back and this time I took it to two independent dealers and they said that the transfer case was shot and all of the gasket and seals associated with it needed replaced. The total cost of the repairs was approximately 4000 dollars. They also said that two of the boots on the axles were ripped, which after inspection I could even see were torn. Two days ago the transmission cooler lines and the radiator fan went out and I found a pool of transmission fluid on my driveway and the car was overheating while idling. To summarize Ted's is a total ripoff. The prices and cars might seem like a good deal, but they're not. They will put bandaids all over it to get it off the lot and then tell you its out of warranty when problems arise. My only advice is to shop elsewhere at a reputable dealer that doesn't bank their entire business on trying to sell cars that they know have problems with them but just want to make a sale. Please take my advice and save yourself thousands of dollars. read more
