Shed is great as long as you don't need a repair. They seem to love building them but use siding and roofing you can't find anywhere and they, from my personal experience, really don't like repairs. Charge $150 for an estimate that is non refundable and it doesn't get applied to the repair cost. You pay $150b just to find out how much they want to do the repair. Indicates to me that they like building them but don't want to be bothered with you later. Personally, I would never buy another one. read more

many decades old Ted's Shed, not even sure its the same folks but the logo and the tag line seems to be the same. "Pop Pop" (deceased 2017) loved this shed. However last month Hurricane IAN CAT 4 (2 mph below a CAT 5 at 155 MPG) was not kind to it and toppled a 70 plus hard wood massive tree right on the shed. taking down high voltage lines, cable, and telephone. The shed probably saved the top of the tree from major damage to the house!!! I wonder if we can get a Warranty replacement? So today was the day Ted promised my shed would be built, this was after several other promises that he broke. And I have had enough. I don't have a shed but he still has my deposit and he will be getting a letter from my lawyer. I listened to every excuse he gave why we had to push this off, I remained patience and professional, but its really evident ... It looks like I was hustled! However, when I read the review before mine I agree other buyers should be aware. Can this gentleman build a beautiful shed. Yes he can. Is it done correctly, prompt and made to withstand the test of time.....NO!! I'm here to let buyers know a year later and his poor construction is starting to become more evident everyday. He left my project half way done for weeks. During those three weeks it rained several times causing the floor of the shed to be soaked with rain. He left all of the material strung across my yard to which I had to consolidate it in one area so it would not kill my grass. When he began to attempt to finish my project (which did not begin until I heard several "ill be there tomorrow " or " just wrapping up a big project ill be there monday" ). Side note: HE NEVER CAME WHEN HE SAID. He enclosed my shed with wet leaves wedged between the boards and the floor. (I have photos) I was at work when this happened and I inquired about this only to have him assure me it was no big deal. I will admit he is a good salesman. I trusted his word and now am paying the consequence. He hung the shed doors and they never hung correctly from day one. The hinges have 3 screws in one hinge and only 1 screw in the other hinges. It literally looks like he ran out of screws and just rigged it. The doors are so poorly build and hung that water pours in the shed when it rains. He stated when we corresponded that he would put vents in the shed. He never did. I now have a shed that is moldy and damp constantly. I contacted him and per usual he promised to come out and install the vents. Told me he was booming with business but he would come take care of it. First it was ill be there Monday then it was ill be there next week. Then he just never responded. So now I have a shed with NO vents, as promised and doors hung and made improperly allowing water to pour in! The talent is there and if you choose to use Teds Sheds I recommend you do not pay him until you inspect every step of the way and make him repair things immediately. He always came when I was working which made it hard to inspect his work. I honestly am disheartened he did not take the proper steps to make the shed hold up. A man introducing himself as Ted Sammon gave us a quote on 1/23/2020 to build a shed on our property. He took a deposit for $500 (which was cashed the next day, on 1/24). Work was to commence on 2/15/20. Ted has never shown himself since then. We have had dozens of contacts with him via phone or text, all of which end with something like "I promise we'll be there Monday morning", "I promise we'll be there tomorrow morning", "we're just finishing a roof inspection and my guys will be there this afternoon to drop off materials". He has never followed through on any of his commitments: no-show and no phone call. Even factoring extra patience and flexibility because of the pandemic, we have finally conceded that we were scammed out of $500. I'm sure our money is lost to us, but we don't want this to happen to anyone else. read more
