I reached out to them for help with the permit and cost for the carport I wanted. They informed me that they applied for and obtained the permits, and told me why they do that. Come to find out if the home owner gets the permit they, the owner, are responsible if anything happens on the job. So a crew member that may have an injury while installing the carport the OWNER is responsible for the medical bills. If the installer gets the permit then their work is covered by workman's comp! We visited both of them to see all the different sheds. We like Brandon Sheds because of the steel frame with solid construction for safety in high winds.
