First, the office address for Teens Inc is a little misleading because they offer classes in Mahtomedi, Maple Grove, and other locations in the Twin Cities metro area. A colleague recommended Teens Inc to me years ago and I am very glad that I remembered and took her advice. She was right when she said: "Not all driver's ed is the same." Three of my sons have learned from Mike Pehl now: two have their licenses, 1 has a permit and the youngest is too young. In the last few years I've learned a lot about the risks of teen driving. At a safety conference, I heard the owner of a driver's ed franchise say that their feedback often includes the word "boring" ... I doubt you'll find any Teens Inc students with that complaint. Mike Pehl is a compelling speaker, he is passionate about his role teaching teenagers to become safe drivers, he has an undeniably unique foundation of knowledge about this topic because of his years as an accident investigator, and his statistical track record with his students is extraordinary. As my friend told me: "Choose wisely" ... I believe there is more information out there about Mike Pehl if you do some research with his name specifically.
