Over the last five months it became clear that that trust has been misplaced. I bring my cars and family's cars in for repair very often. Any squeak gets repaired in short order. During this time I have seen no other mechanic. Back in March 2017 my front left tire fell off while driving only 25 mph - no accident, nothing. I read the owner and mechanics the riot act as I am not a mechanic and would not be able to self inspect ball joints or tie rods and place my safety in the hands of mechanics that I thought were competent. Repairs were made and concerns well communicated with all involved. Three months later, ANOTHER wheel falls off! Again, no accident, nothing. Simply driving down a quiet residential street out east. Not even a pot hole involved. I placed my last call to the Shell station to let them know that I would never again place my family's safety in their hands. And given their lack of thorough inspection, care and quality of work, neither should you.

This morning, I went to the shop and found they forgot to order the pipe, game over. That was lucky for me, as I said forget it and started looking for someone who knows exhaust work specifically. Called Bobby at 11A.M., he got me in and job was done in about 70 minutes. Bobby showed me the lousy job done before on this exhaust, and he quickly crafted a solution, including the hanging-low components. Vehicle runs near-silent now, and Bobby's assistant ran a scan on my codes at no charge (usually 100-plus anywhere.) Received sound advice on correcting the codes, which may involve a simple vac hose replacement. Great shop, honest, friendly and zero-nonsense. Engine or exhaust issues, Bobby and his crew know what to do.

His fantastic reputation is absolutely true and my needs were met and exceeded greatly. I called up this morning to make an appointment and immediately got a respectful answer and a time to come in from Bobby himself. When I arrived I was greeted by Bobby and his assistant who were both friendly, respectful and enjoyable to talk to. My car was immediately brought into the bay exactly at the appointment time and I got to meet one of Bobbys employees in the back as well. He instantly got to work on my car and the job was done in a timely fashion but to an extremely high quality. The waiting area has many cool car related models and race inspired products showing that Bobby sees cars in a way that true car guys do. When the job was done he had me come back to personally check the underside of the car to see the work was done correctly and had me start up the car with him to make sure everything was done correctly. Clearly a respectful and honest man of his word who hires only the hardest working, most respectful staff. My car is not worth a million bucks but it was treated with the same level of care as a brand new, worthless vehicle. It looked, smelled and drove exactly as it did when I brought it in but it just sounded a whole lot better. I will absolutely use Bobbys again with my next exhaust needs and I highly recommend them. After spending $1,000 I was assured that DMV would pass my car because of the amount of money I spent and it failed for mechanical issues, not safety issues. After months of texts and calls to them, then an irate text because then I got a ticket for the inspection in OCTOBER, they told me they spent too many hours on the phone with DMV, 80+ hours, blah blah blah, and they were done. So I call DMV myself and within 1/2 hour on the phone, my job (which was really their job) was done. DMV had to contact them because the receipt they gave me was not written up properly according to DMV. Needless to say, Rich was accurate with what he said about DMV passing it, but it had to be reinspected within a month, from May to October didn't qualify!!! DMV had them redo the inspection and lo and behold, it's taken care of. They cannot honestly tell me they spend that many hours with DMV yet I accomplished all, the call, emailing DMV, everything, in 30 minutes!! As far as I'm concerned, they got their $1,000 and left me out to dry, having to do their job for them!!! I'd rather walk then to have my car repaired by them again. I hate nothing more than an untrustworthy liar and that's what they are. So if you're looking for a reliable mechanic... KEEP LOOKING!!!!
