I arrived at 5:45 pm and was told by the receptionist that I would be seen at about 9:20 pm. I will get a text when they are ready to see me and I have 15 min to check in to keep my spot. I was planning to go home and come back because I wasn't going to wait in the waiting room for 3+ hours with a room full of sick patient. As soon as I left the parking lot, I got a text and turn back around. I was seen by the PA and got an x-ray by 6:25 pm. At 6:55 pm, I heard receptionist turning walk-ins away, even though they closed at 11 pm. Apparently, you can make appt for Urgent Care. Good to know! At 7:40 pm, I started to question myself if I was supposed to wait there. I went to ask the nurse to make sure they know I'm still waiting. After 10 minutes, a nurse (not the PA) came out with paperwork that has a list of prescriptions/medications. Most importantly, my lungs are cleared. No sign of pneumonia. I waited almost two hours for that. Good thing is that there is a 24 hours pharmacy inside of the ER in the next building. I was able to get my prescription and finally go home and rest.
