Because of that, we had to order new cabinets to accommodate the chimney that was covered up. Todd then submitted a new estimate which was fine and then I had to work with the store that he required that I use, but then I had to order new ones for about 9k. Store said they credited the refund from first. Then I realized he originally ordered their cheapest line. I therefore upgraded the quality and included extra features. My kitchen is small, but d​using the project Todd was, at times, very hard to get a hold of. After redesigning the kitchen for the second new cabinets, which took, forever for the store that Todd required me to go to, the cabinets finally came in plus I selected the new counters and paid for that.. My problem is I called and called Todd for weeks, sent emails and texts. He never responded. After 2 months, he finally told me that he wasn't able to finish kitchen until May. This was January and I started calling in early November. I have no access to my kitchen in any way. Todd never reimbursed me on the money I paid to install the cabinets. That was included on the check I gave him prior to starting. I spoke with the store and I now how much the cabinets cost him. Every time I tried to contact him, he never answered my repeated emails, calls plus he ran out on the job and he knows I have no access to my kitchen and am in dire need​ for completion. The very least he could have answered and let me know he wasn't planning on completing the project. I wasted 2.5 months and had to find someone else to complete the project Nd pay twice for cabinet installation. Instead of telling me from the outset that he didn't intend to wait for 2nd set of cabinets. He only finally decided to answer his phone in June. He should of then reimbursed me the install fee. My experience with Todd's Certified Home Repair wa​s horrible and he owes me the install fee. He could have handled the solution so much better, but ran out on me. Typical bad contractor. Run.
