She was a no-show. Called to find out she was off. Called main number Tuesday. Henry said they would pick up Wednesday. They showed up Wednesday an hour late, but I wasn't concerned because there was snow on the ground and I knew they would refuse again, legitimately. Called Michelle, she was told I would move the three pieces to my garage. That conversation never took place. Lots of communication issues here and I have wasted 10 days time.

This place needs some love and I am literally so sad I never checked this place out until recently…read more I came here looking for a couch and certainly left with one which I've included below. I'll say that you shouldn't go in with expectations hoping you'll find something same day. However, I've already been back more than once this week and I keep leaving with things I need! I got this couch for $100 and I feel lucky! One of the legs could use replacement for aesthetics but it is sturdy in its current state even if don't fix it. I also picked up a table (I'm using it as an end table) for $15 because it was missing 4 nuts to attach the top to the legs. It had a few scratches on the table top but a little sharpie fixed it. I went in again and found a nice circular mirror for $35. I've been super pleased with my finds. Things are constantly being added so if you love something that much, buy it! Not everything is a "deal" per say but you can find some good things here. Check out their Facebook page as they've been a little bit more active on adding some of the things they've been selling which got me into their actual store!

Get in line around 5pm and wait. Try not to pass out from the smell of stale whiskey. Try not to get a concussion from a suddenly hefted overstuffed backpack. Try to not cry about the ragged mom and her emaciated children. A concierge directs you to a table set with a big bowl of salad and a basket of sandwich bread. On my plate is a huge hunk of meatloaf. Meatloaf is something I never order, never desire, and never think about. But this meatloaf was made by charitable church ladies. This meatloaf was love-filled and life-giving, packing me with beefy hope for the future. Water and milk were provided. A teen boy moved erratically about, serving people from a tray precariously stacked with cookies and apples. The group of us at our cafeteria-type table seemed beyond etiquette and just grab for the food. Sometimes the opposite happens: everyone says "thank you" and "you're welcome," and "please stop stabbing me with that fork." You bus your own dishes, scraping and putting them into the proper dish tub. If you're especially sentient and compassionate, you thank the kitchen crew. It was a good meal. For just a moment, I felt loved and accepted.

Turkey, baked potato, green beans, apple sauce, bread and butter. Coffee, milk and water. Green beans seemed fresh not canned, potatoes were quality, apple sauce good, and real butter on the table, the bread was refilled when out. People were polite and mannered at my table. A volunteer came about with a plate of brownies for dessert.
