The man who helped me, Cesar, basically sold me on the phone by finding a way to cut 40 dollars off my monthly bill while still keeping all the features i had before! You had to have a smart phone to qualify- up until this point none of my phones had been smarter than me- and being a mac user, it seemed like the logical choice! I was pretty impressed with the service because he called Telus twice for me to ask questions i had about my new plan features and what they included. It isn't a Telus store so i don't expect them to know all the ins and outs of every single detail of Telus' contracts, so i was happy that he actually called to ask instead of bullshitting an answer just to quickly sell me a phone. He also showed me a lot of handy features and showed me applications i could download to even further cut my bill down by making calls through a wireless router! I'm assuming they make most of their money by selling phones and getting a commission for signing people up with Telus, so they certainly had no qualms about showing me how to save a bunch on my month to month bill! Also, this is the first time my phone hasn't been screwed up after activation. I'm pretty sure I have a ranty Telus review on here somewhere because in the past it has taken me more than one visit to an actual Telus store to get my phone working properly! For the first time ever, I had no problems with my phone after it was activated when i came here!

At 3PM, I contacted him and he said he thought was 5PM. Good thing the message still there. Then, he asked to reschedule to 7PM which I agreed. At 650PM, I messaged him and he said he is 30 minutes away and later said he just noticed he was missing some parts and will come tomorrow. I immediately cancelled his service. Then, he removed his ads right away. Be aware of this untrustworthy person and think twice before you go with him. Not sure how he has such a positive reviews.

He asked for a security deposit to secure a 10am-11am appointment for the next day. Out of good faith, I agreed and sent him an INTERAC transfer. At 1030am day of the appointment, with no sign of, nor message/call from him, I texted "where are you, what is your ETA?" No reply. I texted again at 1230noon and he replied "delayed and will arrive in one hour." By then, I had a bad feeling already. I just replied "you should update customers even with just a text if you'll be late so theyre not just waiting." So this went on and on until I had to leave for a family dinner. To be honest, had there been no downpayment, would've just canceled. Then at 3pm -he found out the TV was 85 inches (he never asked to begin with), I agreed to pay for the price difference and he said he will arrive 530pm because he needs another person. By 535pm, I asked him where he was and he said he was still in downtown, waiting for the other guy. Again, no communication whatsoever! With today's technology, this is INEXCUSABLE. Truly UNPROFESSIONAL with absolutely NO RESPECT for other people's time. I told him I was cancelling and to just return the DP, its been 24hours and he does not even have the DECENCY TO REPLY! When they say "in-wall cabling" and "concealed cables" on the website, they mean it very literally. Everything was plugged into a dollar store extension cord, then electrical taped together and thrown INTO the wall alongside old insulation, and hidden with a faceplate. Pretty sure that's a fire hazard, which is why the Canadian Code and NEC specifically state extension cords should not be concealed within walls. Why not neatly bind everything with zap straps and tuck tidily behind the TV? WTF did I pay you $250 for when I apparently know more about the electrical code and basic human technology needs (such as the ability to plug in/out devices) than you do? So when I recently got a new cable box and had to return the old one...(which btw was mounted in the most ridiculous way--4 screws and gorilla tape? Hence the ripped drywall paper), I couldn't return the power adapter to shaw because it's plugged in INSIDE the f'ing wall. The guy who came with Jason seemed slightly less high on the booger sugar, but apparently not enough to stop this ridiculousness from taking place. Very sorry I didn't hover over them the whole time to question what they were doing, and had to notice it the hard way when I got a new cable box.

In all fairness I have to upgrade a star for this location. The current employee, (we'll call him Ali E.) has both improved his customer service skills as well as his cell service knowledge. He and his assistant were so helpful, even going as far as offering advice beyond the call of duty. Unfortunately I can't go as far as saying that W.W. is fully redeemed of it's past transgressions, only that finally we experienced something other than terrible service on this particular visit.

Somehow I walked into the Park Royal North store in West Vancouver and met Parham. I have bought several items from him. He is wonderful to deal with. I have since had some challenges with a a Bluetooth or rwo. He and Cindy and staff have gone out of their way to help and to solve any problems even contacting the manufacturer to activate a warranty which normally the customer would have to do. I cannot say enough about their service and calm way of handling customer concerns with any product. I am so busy with my work and life and they take all the pressure off with their customer service and going the extra mile! I highly recommend them. Annemette
