The clerk who said she was the store manager was not able to locate our account on their system. When I got home I was easily able to locate our account on the my.shaw.ca website. Not sure why the manager wasn't able to locate it. The manager was only interested in setting us up with a brand new account. I was concerned we'd then be stuck with 2 accounts. She was not of any assistance - we walked out. Will not return to this location and hope we have better luck at the next Rogers location we drop into. To improve Rogers needs to hire better staff.

During that call, I clearly told them that I did NOT want to renew and asked them to cancel my service by the end of February. However, when I called them today, they told me that my contract had already been renewed without my permission. They claimed that I agreed to renew it, which is completely false. They also said they record everything, which should prove that I specifically said I did not want to renew. What makes this even worse is that they are now saying I have to pay a cancellation fee to cancel a contract that I never agreed to renew in the first place. This is extremely unfair and unacceptable. This experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. Renewing a contract without clear consent and then charging a fee to cancel it is unprofessional and dishonest. I expected better treatment and respect as a customer. I would not recommend Rogers or Shaw based on this experience.

GARBAGE! My…read moregirlfriend contacted Roger's about her phone bill, she had been receiving substantial charges for usage when she has WiFi at work and home. I told her to call and ask for a better deal seeing as she was paying 110 for only 2g data with unlimited talk and text.. Compared to telus which I pay 60 for 3 gigs and unlimited talk and text(Roger's is garbage!). So she called and got in contact with a rep around 9 EMT and she explained her situation and inquired about better rates/offers (she has been with them for 6 years) and the rep said he couldn't offer her anything. So she asked for the manager and she got put on hold for 15 min. The same rep picked up and told her they were closing in 20 min (after being on the phone with him for 25min and in hold for 15...) and asked her if she just wanted more data or a lower rate. She again asked for the manager and he said he'd put her on hold again and told her that the manager would be about 4 minutes. WE WAITED ONE HOUR!!!! We have the call log on the phone that shows the duration of the call and when we called. What kind of service is that! Telus has never done anything like that to me or anyone I know and I've been with them less than 6 years. Never, ever use Roger's.

Defective as stated kept reverting to Spanish and after 12 hours was still trying to transfer Data from my old iPhone. Their rep, taking no responsibility, said it was due to my old iPhone. This process took 47min with the new phone I purchased at the Apple store. 3. Discontinued model. I was informed by Apple, the manufacturers they had discontinued making the model for well over a year. Their Wireless rep said that information not correct. Thanks but I'll take Apples word on this not yours. I expect higher quality reputable vendors if they are associated with Costco. Unfortunately Costco doesn't seem be concerned about their reputation by association. If you want a new iPhone go directly through Apple and contact your carrier of choice on your own.
