We finally found a place in Whistler, BC that sells Bluetooth headsets - Telus. They are located just North of Whistler Village off of the Sea-To-Sky Highway in a small retail/commercial strip. They sell all sorts of mobile phones here, including iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, and lots of third party phone accessories, including headphones, Bluetooth headsets, ruggedized cases, and more. They had several Bluetooth headsets, including a Jabra, a Jawbone, and the Motorola Hint. My friend and I both bought the Motorola Hint - we'd paid a bit more for it than if we had waited and bought it in the U.S. Staff was very nice. They were great!! I had an old school flip phone that finally bit the slushy sidewalk. I couldn't get it to stay on/work and wanted to transfer the contacts to my "new" old school flip. I went in to see if they could help. They were friendly and cheery to me and my pup, which they welcomed into the store while looking after me. They had sooo much more patience with the old, finicky, half-dead device than I could. I wasn't hopeful they'd be able to get it going or recover very much, if anything. But they got it all ! - even the pictures transferred! :-) Then... after all the time they spent on my dilapidated device they didn't even charge me! :-) Thanks for the awesome service! :-D read more

i had a horrible experience today when i went in and felt like my presence was instantly experienced as an inconvenience. i felt unheard when on two occasions i was repeatedly asked the same question to which I had already responded and i was directed toward an app to change my plan. i found the person to be edgy and certainly not interested in helping me. the person talked about a plan that apparently was only available today on the app, not asking what my present plan was to see if the particular plan would meet my needs. i did change my plan online, not on the app. last week i dropped by and a different person was actually helpful and supportive of upgrading my iPhone 8 and it sure seemed like that person was capable of changing my plan onsite but i was waiting to see if they were also getting a new phone in... which they still had not today. regardless, i guess anybody can have an off day and bring it into work? i might have lost out on a deal to get an improved phone in the cheapest way... but maybe i will just go into apple since at least i have had consistent enjoyable interactions there... read more
