We told the director at the time what our situation was and she was ok with it. But soon after they complained every day about my kid just because she didn't like coming in from playing outside. My kid needed a little more prompting when it came to transitions. My kid also had some therapists to come in and work with them. My kid was also not there all day because my kid went to a public preschool in the morning and got dropped off for lunch and the rest of the day at Temple Beth. Teacher Robin absolutely had no patience for my child and she had no poker face about it. After a couple months the director gave me an ultimatum and said if I want my kid to continue at Temple Beth, then someone needs to be with my kid during daycare hours. So what's the point of me paying for this school? Fyi this happened in 2015-2016. I heard that teacher Robin is the Director now and I don't know how that lady got that position. I am so disappointed with this place. I finally got a call back from another preschool/daycare just in time with that ultimatum and left Temple Beth. The other preschool I took my kid to was understanding of my situation and worked with my kids therapists to help them have a successful day. After that, my kid thrived and everything got better.

The teachers here are kind, patients, smart, and deeply dedicated to the children they are caring for. I have a very sporadic schedule and have often dropped off and picked up at random times and it amazes me every time how playful and fun, yet calm and organized they always seem to be. Choosing a pre school for our smallest children is such a difficult decision and I am so grateful we chose this one. My child has been able to learn so much from all the wonderful lessons, teachers and cultural diversity. They are an inclusive, communicative, professional and child centered community, we love TBI!

There's not too many Hindu temples in the state. I see Islamic mosques in the U.S. more than I can find a good East Asia Indian Hindu temple. Not huge, but there's plenty of great photo spots all around the temple. Employees are all friendly, welcoming, and set a great first hand impression of the experiences. Exterior and interior of buildings are worth walking around. When you enter the main gate for free parking, assistant gives you a small map of the site in advance. Note, Visitors can take photos inside the visitor center area, but no cameras, photography, or shoes are allowed in the main temple attraction site. No large backpacks, but I was able to bring my small hat/cap with me. I didn't wear it inside the temple though. Take off shoes and store them in the shelves available right before walking up the long stairs. Cover up/check dress code restrictions in advance. Good vibes all around. Inside the main temple were people praying/meditating. Very cold temperatures and echoing noise can easily be heard inside. White detailed sculptures are amazing. Indian culture is religious. Respect Hindu vibes. It's a great feeling walking around and you can check out other parts of the temple/museum. Great place for selfies and beautiful pictures for sure. Love it.

Lost Shoes, Found Enlightenment…read more Visited the beautiful BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir and was truly impressed. The Hindu temple is absolutely stunning, the architecture is extraordinary, with intricate carvings made from Italian Carrara marble and Indian pink sandstone. It's on a apx 20 acres site. It took about five years to build, and knowing that so many volunteers helped create it with love and devotion makes it even more meaningful. Since the temple is located in an earthquake zone, I learned it also incorporates modern seismic protection technology beneath the structure, which is fascinating. The museum is definitely worth visiting as well. One unexpectedly spiritual experience happened at the shoe area. Someone apparently "borrowed" my shoes by mistake. For a brief moment, I thought perhaps I was being tested on detachment from worldly possessions. But then ... miracle of miracles ... the shoes mysteriously returned. My theory is either karma worked at lightning speed... or the person discovered that my shoes were not nearly as comfortable or fashionable as expected. Either way, I gratefully walked home with enlightenment... and my shoes.
