Every Friday…read moreduring LENT there is a Soup, Salad, & Bread meal at no charge (donations welcome) at 5pm the homecooked food is great, it is a time to socialize and then at 6pm we pray the Stations of the Cross. There is a grief group meeting on Thursdays @ 5:30pm ending on 24 March. We are collecting long sleeve shirts (only) until 2 April to donate to migrant workers for sun and pesticide protection. On 24 March @ 6pm there is a one-night parish mission beginning @ 6pm. Every Thursday @ 5:30 -6:30 Adoration & Benediction. We always accept food donations and strongly support St. Vincent De Paul ministry activities. Everyone is welcome to attend Mass and our activities/events. Only Catholics in good standing may receive communion. (Eucharist) as we believe it is the actual body & blood of Jesus.

There were all types of booths selling everything from wreaths to jewelry, food and all types of arts and crafts, scented soaps, you name it, they had it. It was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I went to Mass afterwards and it was very nice. Its always nice to have a welcoming parish close to home.

Four years ago, my wife and I rode our tandem bike to this church. We felt at home right away…read more Everyone was so friendly, so we joined the church, and I started singing in the choir and playing the guitar with the hymns. A few months later, the church decided to step out in faith and hire a Youth Pastor to start a youth ministry even though we didn't have any youth. They hired me! A few months after that, our Senior Pastor, Rich Lively, took another position, and recommended me as Interim Senior Pastor. After six months of interim, the church hired me as Senior Pastor, and I have served in that capacity for over four years. In the last few years, God has done incredible things at First Baptist. We have grown from a weekly attendance of 50 on Sundays to a weekly attendance of 200. We now have thriving youth, children, and young adult ministries. I don't credit myself with anything God has done. I just try to faithfully preach the Word of God verse by verse and care for every soul that belongs to our congregation. But if you want Truth, whether you disagree with some of his interpretations of the more complicated parts and Revelation, at least he teaches it. That takes courage and boldness. This is the one fellowship that I can easily reccommend for teaching the whole Bible from Genesis 1 the verse first to the last period in Revelation. No fellowship is perfect. And these Brethren tend to be more mature in the Love of GOD and friendly. The only challenge is it's on the last part of the last island of Merritt Island on Banana Drive. and for GLEN C., well, are you in Tennessee? You'd know that GOD can do miracles and gives 2nd chances to fellowships that change. I don't know their past, but I do know their present. With Dr. Esposito's leadership and friendliness and frankness, they are on more than just the right road. MORE SO THAN MOST FELLOWSHIPS HERE IN BREVARd.
