As previously mentioned the park is covered (perfect for hot days), gated (to keep our little ones from running away) and the floor is that soft fake grass (safer for falls and running around) . Truly the perfect/safe space for kids of all ages. Adjacent to the park is a covered pavilion with plenty picnic tables for eating and bathrooms as well as a fountain. The park itself is one of the nicest parks I have ever been to and I wish there was one like this when I was a child. They have a section for ages 2-5 and a section for ages 5-12. There are slides for all ages including the three that are around 20 feet tall or more that's enclosed. There's lots of climbing options including the big spider web. There is lots of sensory items for sounds, shapes and movement for little ones to play with. There is also learning material like sign language, shapes, and the alphabet plastered throughout. There is even a section with swings for babies, handicap or bigger children. There really is too many amazing features to explain so I would highly suggest coming for yourself.

Pastor Mark is a leader who teaches practical applications of the gospel every single weekend. With Jesus at the core, he trusts his congregation to understand deeper concepts that will transform their lives. 2. The mission work at this church spans from the local community to a much broader international scope. So, when Pastor Mark preaches about the servant heart of Christ, the body of believers can be inspired to work in any of the church's mission fields. 3. The student ministry for middle/high school students is very active and I've personally seen God's hand transforming the lives of many that attend. I have been a leader at 3 summer camps and every year I see the students opening up to their peers in order to form a christian support system at school. 4. I love the worship at this church because it reflects the vast array of emotions a believer experiences in life. There are upbeat songs that relate to the pure joy we have in the presence of our Creator/Father and there are songs that speak to our graceful, forgiving God that strengthens us when we are weak. The style is in the likes of Bethel, Elevation, Chris Tomlin and other contemporary praise artists you would hear on Z88.3 5. This church is large but it encourages its members to join a small group. Small groups are a great way to grow close with other believers who may become lifelong friends. Church of Viera was the worst experience my wife and I have ever had at a Church. After watching a…read moreservice online last week we thought we would give the 10am service a try and drove 30 minutes to Viera only to be treated as if the Church did not care. After dropping my wife off at the door she is handicapped and walks with a walker, I went and parked the car and met her inside. I was super excited as the Church was packed. That is when it all went wrong. 1) We saw an usher and I said 2 seats please and pointed out my wife's walker. He looked at us and very rudely said "I ain't got nothing for you" which was weird as there were several reserved seats right in front of us. 2) So, we decided to just leave as we did not want to burden someone who cared less for us. 3) Upon walking out we gave the person holding the door the papers he gave to us as we walked in. We told him the usher said "he ain't got nothing for us". Instead of trying to help he then said, "have a good day" and I said, "thank you for making us feel wanted". 4) Several Church volunteers overheard and just said, "have a good day". 5) As we were approaching our vehicle a gentleman named Steve asked, is everything alright? We explained what had taken place and he was very apologetic and offered to escort us back in and help find seats. At that point we were already upset that the usher was so rude and declined his offer. He again apologized and said as a Christian that is not how you treat people. I know this is long winded, but I am still in shock as I write this 3 1/2 hours later. We are both in our middle 50's and my wife is handicapped from leukemia walking with a walker, and we were treated so rudely by an usher. Besides Steve from outside, not one single person offered to assist or help. This is clearly NOT the way JESUS would be treating people. Do Better Church of Viera Do Better.

We felt at home right away…read more Everyone was so friendly, so we joined the church, and I started singing in the choir and playing the guitar with the hymns. A few months later, the church decided to step out in faith and hire a Youth Pastor to start a youth ministry even though we didn't have any youth. They hired me! A few months after that, our Senior Pastor, Rich Lively, took another position, and recommended me as Interim Senior Pastor. After six months of interim, the church hired me as Senior Pastor, and I have served in that capacity for over four years. In the last few years, God has done incredible things at First Baptist. We have grown from a weekly attendance of 50 on Sundays to a weekly attendance of 200. We now have thriving youth, children, and young adult ministries. I don't credit myself with anything God has done. I just try to faithfully preach the Word of God verse by verse and care for every soul that belongs to our congregation. If you are a believer looking for a gospel centered, Bible believing church, then please join us on Sunday! If you want to come and be part of a Christian community that loves God, they will take you. No matter what. No matter who you are, you're welcome. Since they are UCC they have a strong community service component. Lots of members volunteer in all sorts of projects. That's really important to them. Oh, they have occasional activity days like Kayaking that the whole church participates in. I'm not really sure if they are celebrating being saved or they just think that being outside is a good way to see God's splendor.
