It's centrally-located in a big park square and has a huge outside terrace with multple bar stations. Sometimes there are concerts or films set up in the park so you get a free show while you get tanked after work, and everybody is there after work. I miss getting drunk with my bud Nicky Glasses at Parlor, miss you buddy. Some day we will have to go there to reminisce inside bevys.

We were given menus and offered a choice water - including free tap water with ice and mint leaves, were presented a complimentary salmon amuse bouche and ordered cocktails. So far, so good. Once our delicious cocktails arrived, we ordered our starters and mains, and a bottle of wine. Unfortunately the white wine arrived warm, but it did come with an ice bucket, so it cooled down whilst we ate our starters. To our surprise, the mains (a standard burger and chips) arrived stone cold, but we let the waiter know, and he seemed genuinely apologetic and brought us fresh ones, which were hot. The food wasn't bad, but neither was it anything outstanding. The whole Parlour bar and restaurant menu has a quirky "circus" theme, with the cocktails named things like "tears of a clown" and "fairground millionaire", and the chips served in mugs or flower pots! Our burgers were served on a plastic cafeteria style lunch tray. Whilst the service was good, the prices were a little on the high side given the quality. I suppose it's the central Canary Wharf location that draws in customers looking for team lunches paid for on company credit cards.

Warm Welcome: When we first arrived, our rooms weren't quite ready yet. No biggie, though, because we made our way up to the Executive Lounge for a drink and a snack. What a lovely start to our stay! Above and Beyond: The next day, as we geared up for our adventure in the city, we decided to swing by the concierge desk for some local tips. Let me tell you, the concierge was an absolute gem! Not only did he provide us with fantastic recommendations, but he went the extra mile by walking us all the way to the Underground station. He guided us on how to pay, took us up the elevator, and even accompanied us to the platform. Talk about exceptional service! The entire staff at this hotel was top-notch. Cheers to G&Tea Lounge: We couldn't resist a stop at the G&Tea Lounge for a couple of drinks, and boy, were we in for a treat. The libations here were spot-on, and the atmosphere was just right for winding down. Cozy Quarters: Now, let's talk about our room. It may not have been the most extravagant we've seen, but it was comfortable and had all the essentials. The bed was just fine, though we did notice that the comforter was a tad lumpy, as you can see from the video. We had booked a Deluxe King Bed room but lucked out with an upgrade to an Executive King Room on a high floor. Delightful breakfast buffet: Thanks to our Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite status, it was on the house, and let me tell you, it was a morning treat worth savoring! The buffet spread featured all of your typical British favorites. But here's the kicker - there was also an egg station where you could order your eggs just the way you like them, and they'd whip them up right in front of you. A lovely assortment of fresh fruits and pastries awaited us, and coffee enthusiasts were in for a real treat. The coffee maker had a selection of options like Americano, latte, cappuccino, and more. It's safe to say we started our days on a delicious note, and for a complimentary buffet, it was pretty darn good. So, if you're lucky enough to have Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite status, make sure to take full advantage of this breakfast spread - it's the perfect fuel for a day of London exploration! All in all, our stay at the London Marriott Hotel Canary Wharf was made extra special by the wonderful staff who truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and assist us in every way possible. If you're looking for a comfortable and friendly base for your London adventures, this spot is definitely worth considering. Happy travels, everyone! We had a party of 13 so I understand there would be somewhat of a wait and that the whole Dining experience might take a while. We dined on a Tuesday night and the place was quite busy! It took at least 30 minutes from sitting down to get our drinks and another 10 on top of that for them to bring out some bottles of water. It seemed like our server was training someone new. They could have been more efficient, but it took a long time for them both to go around the table and enter in our orders. We were at a work after hours function so we all ordered from the 3 courses for 45 quid option. All of the starters sounded good, but I was slightly disappointed in the drunken dumplings as there were only 2, but the presentation was cool with them pouring the broth into the bowl at the table. I wish I had ordered the cheddar and shrimp toasties as they looked quite good! This place has awesome & fun cocktails, hence the Alchemist name. I didn't realize this at first so ordered a Mai Tai which was not nearly as exciting as some of what my colleagues ordered. Second time around I ordered the red zombie which came out smoking with a test tube vial of absinthe to add in! Definitely cool, but also a bit strong. I had the ribeye steak for my main. It was delicious! The cauliflower and potatoes very good too. Had the next level chocolate brownie for dessert. My only thought is it could have used a bigger scoop of ice cream compared to the size of the brownie but it was delicious! So good, in fact, that I had to finish every last crumb. The ambiance was nice. The bathroom was clean, but a little hard to locate. All in all, I would definitely come back if in the area again.

There were a range of flavours, temperatures, liquors, flavours and modes of "drinking" each of the rounds. Situated in the Shoreditch area, the location is great! The decker is also very trendy with the dimly lit speakeasy vibe. The service was great. Cannot wait until I'm in London again to go back and try another one of the options on the tasting menu.

The space isn't a true speakeasy as there's a clear entrance you go to, vs finding the secret entrance and all that jazz. Aside from that, the vibe is moody and chill. Menus are in the books at the tables. They offer ala carte drinks or you can choose their 5 drink tasting menu which is popular. We all got the tasting menu, every person getting a different theme. Drinks are creative, whimsical, fun and playful. I'm not much of a drinker so I was concerned this would be a bit much for me, but this is about the experience, the drinks werent too big or overly boozy, or anything. The themes from the 39 euro tasting menu are: 1. Cocktail history. This is the most traditional drink direction 2. Naughty childhood. Drinks are candy and dessert based. Not necessarily overly sweet so don't worry about that. 3. Nature. 4. West meets east. Asian themed drinks. This was most creative and I wish I got this one. 5. Gourmet. French themed. This is the one that didn't get chosen from our group. 6. Get ready and go. London themed. All the drinks were super creative. There was so much thought around presentation put into them. And they update their drinks regularly. I'll definitely come back so I can try more of the other themes. Note. They have very very minimal snacks available so make sure you eat ahead of time.
