I went to Temptations for the first time last night. I'm a female and I went in alone. I walked in to pay the cover and the lady seemed nice. I was asking questions since I'd never been there, nothing out of the ordinary. She told me to not take all the girls tips. Didn't think anything about it, just took it as a compliment of being pretty or something. I walked in and received very nasty looks from the girls as I was walking through heading to the restroom before getting a drink or finding a seat. I walked to the bar to get my first drink; the manager and the female bartender were standing there talking right in front of me. They just looked at me and continued their conversation. I found that very rude especially when you work for tips. Finally the manager stepped forward and I told him what I wanted. He made me a drink then I went to sit at an empty table in the back by the 2nd stage. Waitresses would walk by and not even check on me. Not one girl even said hello. Finally, a waitress came by to let me know a gentleman offered to buy me a drink of my choice; I accepted and told her to tell him thank you. A couple minutes later she came back to let me know he offered to buy me a shot, again, I accepted and told her to tell him thank you. Approximately 20 minutes later a gentleman came up and started talking. He then asked if I wanted to join him and his friends at their tables. He was nice so I accepted. After about 30 minutes and another drink, I asked if anyone had a cigarette. The gentleman offered so we went out to smoke. I let him know I was getting ready to leave but had to go in to close my tab. We exchanged numbers and I left. I had been there for 2 1/2 hours or more. Not one girl or waitress said hello or checked on me except for the the 2 drinks the gentleman had bought. 30 minutes after I left, the gentleman sent me a text telling me his friends told him I was a prostitute because that's what the girls had told them. They said my purse was a dead give away. He even said the manager asked him how much I charged and told him I was a professional. He told me I was the topic for about an hour after I left. I have never felt so insulted or disrespected in a strip club before. IF the girls would have been friendly or at least tried to talk to me, they would have seen that I would have HELPED them. I had $100 cash (in my Coach purse) that I had planned on spending on 1 or 2 girls last night. If they were decent strippers, they would have gotten my $100 and possibly tripled it. Instead I'll take my money and go buy myself another Coach purse. read more
