This company is a joke. Tempus Unlimited plays games with people's paychecks, constantly moving the goalposts and making up new requirements just to stall. One day it's "we need a different signature," the next it's "get a bank letter or a check" -- all while holding on to money I've already earned. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their staff are rude and unprofessional. I am a PCA with this company and I have had contact support. I have tried it through the phone and on the live chat. I have had tenpus for 3 years recently one of there skills trainers came to my house asking me to sell her my narcotic medication , I said no next day my house got broken into , reported the tempus worker trying for a hour to get me to sell my medication I didn't sell it but because I reported the skill trainer for drug seeking and telling me she putchases pills off clients , well the nurse came said I need more hours I'm permenatly disabled in a wheelchair , well tempus sent papework stating i didn't need a pca in retalition , I do in fact need a pca im in a wheelchaor have 6 sever spinal diseases and many autoimmune , wwell because i reported their worker she faced papework from tempus and had my health insurance pull funding for my pca .. . Well [[HIGHLIGHT]]tempus won't eve. Last Sept/24' Sarah Gomez a then skills trainer for Tempus reported that my adult son was no longer using his wheelchair. he's never been in a wheelchair and he's 11 clinics and they can all verify that, she also reported that during the home visit she noticed he wasn't using his CPAP it was daytime and he was awake Since then they removed 64% of his hours I am sick. I've been sick for the last six years and I receive Tempus and because I'm fighting them for my sons hours to be returned they kicked me out of the program. I'm on oxygen and I'm very sick. They are an unorganized retaliatory emotional bunch of everything you should not be because you have to focus on the needs of the client and provide that according to their health condition and limitations, Tempus doesn't do that. It's all about what your race is, if they like you or not, they have so many different inter-office substandard rules that they use in the office that are actually illegal. If you're looking for a PCM AGENCY , please do not use Tempus go to Mass.gov and put in for a list of PCM agencies and though they may be far it's worth it I promise you do not trade places for what my son and I is going through. it's horrific I would trade all 22 years of IEP meetings his five surgeries to not have a relationship with Tempus for my Son . read more

I've worked through their company for 2 years. First...they were breaking the law saying that my signature didn't match so refusing to pay me. When I stated that my signature NEVER matches...asked what type of handwriting expert they have on staff and stated the law that it ILLEGAL to unlawfully keep my paycheck from me...they stopped. Now they're wanting GPS to everyone's phone during their work schedule. That's an invasion of privacy ...sorry but NOT going to happen. This company provides a variety of services to both children and adults with disabilities. Unfortunately, however, they are the sole contracted fiscal intermediary with the Executive Office of Health & Human Services - Office of Medicaid (MassHealth PCA FI Program); making them responsible for all payroll for PCA and or direct care workers working in this field. As a PCA, who has been employed a little over a month, words cannot express how exasperating it is when that anticipated biweekly paycheck has not been deposited into your bank account as scheduled. What is more frustrating is the fact that I (as well as others, I am sure) have had to fight with this company by bringing this issue to the attention of the union and or other necessary sources with the hope and intention of resolving this non-payment of wage(s) issue; even to the point of filing a grievance. Not only do I find this to be unprofessional and unethical, but I don't deem this withholding or delaying of one's paycheck to be legal either. Where this company has a mission to provide services and support to those with disabilities, I would think that they would want to pay the PCA's promptly, especially considering how short-staffed this field already is. With all due respect, with this poor and unstable payroll system the company seems to be operating on, they are bound to lose more PCA (direct care workers) than keep them. Not only is the situation unfair to the worker, but it is also unfair to the consumers who depend on the worker to supply them with a service. It is my hope that this review is viewed by all appropriate parties and that they strive to correct these issues now and improve their quality of service. read more

They do NOT pay their workers what they are worth. I can barely survive because of Tempus being stingy, and forget overtime. I work overtime hours but don't get overtime pay, AND they're supposed to be paying me 5.25 more than I'm making now but despite me turning in the paperwork, they have yet to give me my raise. Do not and I repeat DO NOT work for a company where their payroll is handled by this company. They can truly care less if you're behind on bills cause of them paying you late. Literally had the audacity to blame the app we use for faxing when it works just fine every week & now due to them I have another bill added to my monthly bills with EFax now just to make sure my time sheet gets through. We tried all week and they finally received it yesterday and I have yet to receive an email and doubt compensation due to their negligence. Three bills late cause they never paid me this week. We kept being lied to as we found out through other employees that they also were being paid really late. Do your self a favor & avoid the headache. The fact they're the one & only FI in Massachusetts is beyond me. Never had this issue with Stavros nor NorthEast Arc. Mass needs to reconsider allowing them to be the only FI in the state and let Stavros & NEA handle their employees. It is not the consumers fault that they're PCA gets paid late, possibly lose their mode of transportation cause they never got paid or have their utilities disconnected cause they never got paid. It is the equivalent of spitting in your employees faces & I'm beyond feeling disrespected by the bozos in charge of payroll here. Work in another field if this continues being the only FI in Mass. Weeks ago I requested new hire paperwork. In that paperwork they sent me the old focus card information paperwork. I called and confirmed that all the paperwork was correct which it was not. And now two weeks later I have to submit new paperwork now they have to wait 7 to 10 more days to get paid. I worked for a gentlemen and didn't get paid till after I found him deceased in the home. They had all my paperwork said it was correct then they say it's not. After that I worked for my dying mother and because they didn't process the paperwork I got paid 5 hours a week for a while year, I worked for a woman after my mom passed and the same thing they never received anything, now I'm working for a gentlemen since May and I have yet to see a dime. Mind you rent is due in a few days bills are due in a few days and food, can't buy that without money. I live alone so I don't have someone else with income to get me by. I have faxed the same paperwork 5 times from 3 different places, you cannot possibly tell me that all 5 times there were lines through the writing. I call bull on that . I also call every day to hold forever for them to tell me I don't know what to tell you. Their families are being supported because they get their pay, they have nice hot meals of their choice, hot water, electricity, cable , cell phones shopping money, Vaca money and they sit and pencil push when all of us Pca's but our asses for minimal pay when and if we get paid. The employees at tempus don't have to worry that on the first of the month that the roof over their heads is up in the air because you can't get paid, who's gonna pay the rent, the electricity, hot water, food and necessities such as paper shampoo deodorant laundry soap etc. I'm beyond frustrated and they sit pretty on the other end of the phone with my money in their pockets and lunch in the fridge but me I can't afford to eat lunch because I'm not getting paid.
