This place was nice a few years ago but the owners have not invested in the campground at all and it has gotten extremely unsanitary. The septic tank overflowed and they no longer have bathrooms or showers and do not notify guests of this. They got portapotties instead but they were so full you couldn't sit down without touching waste. It's too bad that this place is owned by someone who shows such blatant disregard for the ethics of the local community. Louie Anderson has been heavily chipping, drilling, comfortizing and outight manufacturing routes, which goes against ethics set by the Access Fund, the Bighorn Climbers' Coalition, and the climbing community at large. It's hard to support a person like that. Hopefully he changes his ways in the future, but Louie Anderson has been at it for decades. It'll take a long time for me to believe that he's stopped. Spent 1 night in a cabin with my kids this fall. We enjoyed the cabin and the grounds. Loved sitting out by the creek on the new yoga decks, and on the front porch. Kids had homework to do, so the picnic tables at the main building with fast WiFi was great. We never talked to anyone that worked here, so have no idea who the staff was, but we were fine with that. Cabins were clean and fairly new. Nice bedding. Extra pillow and blanket were great. read more

Great location to the climbing, great layout for an intimate weekend with your friends and as peaceful as it gets (for being right off of a main highway, but thats what you want in terms of quick and easy access to the climbing). We knew coming into it that the facilities might not be 100% complete and we still had a blast. Its one of, if not, the best climbing ranches I have ever stayed at. I trust they will keep up the facilities for years to come. What a RAD place, I would suggest it to anyone looking to fully enjoy 10SLP for all of its luster!!!!
